Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the Russian government to accompany the introduction of monthly allowances to families in connection with the birth and upbringing of a child, a correspondent reports. DOPs with reference to the Kremlin press service.
“To provide support for the introduction of a monthly allowance in connection with the birth and upbringing of a child from January 1, 2023,” the president’s order to the government of the Russian Federation, published on the website of the president of Russia, says.
The correctness of the appointment, accrual and timeliness of payment will also be controlled by the Russian government. The government must report on the implementation of Putin’s order by December 30, 2022.
The Cabinet of Ministers was also instructed to monitor the execution of the consolidated budgets of Russian regions in terms of co-financing obligations to pay monthly benefits in connection with the birth and upbringing of a child, and, if necessary, provide additional financial support to the regions of the Russian Federation for these payments.
