Prigozhin announced attempts to cut funding for Wagner PMC
The founder and head of the private military company (PMC) “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin said that there is no risk of the group leaving Africa under pressure from the US authorities.
The corresponding comment was posted on the Telegram channel of his press service.
“However, in Russia there is a serious struggle for us to leave there. Many people do not like the fact that Russia can pursue its own independent policy, ”said the entrepreneur.
According to him, there is a serious opposition to the activities of PMCs, in particular, attempts to cut funding so that he could not support groups on the African continent.
Earlier, Prigozhin called PMC “Wagner” the most experienced army of all existing in the world at the moment. Explaining the effectiveness of the organization, the entrepreneur noted that its fighters have been fighting for many years. Prigozhin stressed that they carry out all the assigned tasks on their own, as they have their own military equipment.
