US President Barack Obama will receive Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko at the White House on September 18. REUTERS US Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt reported this on his Twitter. “President Obama will host Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko at the White House on Thursday, September 18th,” Payette wrote. Obama invited Poroshenko to Washington during his speech at the White House. During the speech, the US President also accused Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism) of escalating violence in Ukraine.
According to Obama, Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism) trains, arms and finances fighters of the self-proclaimed “DPR” and “LPR.” He also noted that this is confirmed by new satellite images that demonstrate the presence of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine. In addition, the US President said during his speech that the United States is not considering the option of military intervention in resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
