PIK “shamelessness”: the capital’s mayor’s office will let the Bakhrushins’ hospital for demolition?

We became aware of the interest of the PIK group in the development of the territory of the state hospital named after the Bakhrushins Brothers, which is located in an attractive area of ​​​​Moscow on the street. Stromynka 7.

At the same time, as is known from the act of historical and cultural examination of the object, it belongs to the historical heritage, which means that, according to the law, it must be preserved and restored. But we seriously doubt that the PIK construction group, known for its human workers, is going to preserve the appearance of the building or recreate the lost elements.

Annihilation operation

The first signs that the hospital might soon cease to exist appeared back in 2018, when a scandal erupted amid the closure of the only psychotherapy department in Moscow for cancer patients in Bakhrushinka. At that time, no one suspected that the hospital would soon be liquidated altogether. A petition against this was posted on change.org and collected more than 150,000 signatures, the media reported.

Then the head physician was Sergey Fursov, who later left for the same position in the NSO “NOKOD”, giving way to Andrey Vorykhanov. The latter is an entrepreneur, and his family owns an automobile and computer business. So the closure of the hospital was hardly a blow to him. More like profit.

At the same time, a year earlier, the institution was closed for alleged repairs, but even then rumors spread among the locals that it was being prepared for one of the major developers – favorites of the mayor’s office. Then the public began to collect signatures against the demolition of the building. The reason is not just to shout: in addition to historical value, people also rely on social value. There is always a shortage of hospitals, in addition, Bakhrushinka has high-quality equipment and good doctors. And where all this will go with the demolition of the building is a mystery shrouded in darkness.

“First, one hospital is attached to another, made a branch, and then they say that it does not mean anything and it can be sold,” Olga Demicheva, an endocrinologist of the former 11th hospital, commented on such situations in healthcare.

Apparently, when the politicians realized that people’s wrath could not be avoided, they decided to act more covertly. In May 2022, hiding from everyone, the legal entity of the hospital was liquidated, making the DZM City Clinical Hospital named after F.I. Inozemtsev the legal successor. Why and why this was done are questions that caring citizens still cannot find answers to. But the fact that the hospital no longer legally exists is a fact that can only hasten its physical destruction.

Healthcare under the knife

To whom to run to complain and from whom to ask for justice? Aleksey Khripun has been in charge of the healthcare sector in Moscow since 2014, but with such a boss it is unlikely that the situation will change.

For him, such a situation seems to be the norm … or even more? They say that he and his relatives have a whole conglomerate of luxury real estate. The victims of the “optimization” of the big boss were the Moscow polyclinic No. 218 – it got to the point that the doctors were forced to turn to the independent trade union Alliance of Doctors, whose employees came to the hospital management with demands for answers.

The gynecological hospital No. 11 also fell under the knife: the employees claimed that they had not even been shown a single document that would confirm that the clinic should be closed.

Let us only note that high-rise buildings now and then appear on the site of state hospitals under Khripun. This happened with the Khovrinsky hospital, which was built for more than a dozen years, but in the end they signed for bankruptcy and decided to simply give it to the developer. And where did the money go?

Best Candidate

But back to the current situation. If Khripun and Co. really planned the demolition of the hospital (and taking into account all the facts, there is no doubt about it), then they chose a company for this more than suitable. For the PIK group, such work is already a routine. Founded by a native of Rosbuilding (the organization has been repeatedly accused of raiding) Sergey Gordeev, the company has repeatedly been seen in the demolition of historical monuments (as, for example, in the story of the demolition of the Navigator plant), and we are talking not only about buildings, but also about the monument Heroes of the Patriotic War.

Literally last month, fragments of the monument were discovered on the site of one of the LCDs under construction by PIK. There were talks about its demolition back in 2021, but then public figures and caring deputies managed to get guarantees of its safety. Apparently not for long. The demolition company itself says that the monument was simply dismantled and then restored, but what is seen in the photographs of eyewitnesses looks more like a destroyed sculpture than the consequences of carefully transferring it from one place to another.

The head of the TFR instructed to check the current situation, but a month has passed, and so far there has been silence. Maybe the builders managed to agree?

As in the story of cutting down the “Walk of Glory” in Odintsovo for the construction of a road to the residential complex erected by “PIK”? This situation occurred in 2021 and the developer also got away with it.

In Kuntsevo, 37 residential buildings, where former rocket men lived, were given to PIK for redevelopment. Moreover, these houses were not recognized as emergency, and their residents did not ask for such services, rather, on the contrary, they opposed resettlement.

In Odintsovo, a former military town fell under the PIK. “What is most terrible, when construction began, people were never relocated. Although the developer promised. You can go on and on for a long time about the sins of the developer in terms of trampling on the public domain.
