People’s Deputy “Servant of the People” was caught illegally enriching himself for 20 million: she was declared suspicious

The current MP was informed about suspicion of illegal enrichment of more than 20 million hryvnia. It was by this amount that the value of her assets exceeded her official income and savings.

NABU and SAPO reported this today, October 17. The name and surname of the suspect are not officially disclosed. However, according to sources UPwe are talking about the chosen one from the Servant of the People party, Irina Allahverdieva, whose current name is Kormyshkina.

People’s Deputy was informed of suspicion of illegal enrichment

On October 16, 2024, on behalf of the head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, the SAPO prosecutor reported suspicion of illegal enrichment to the current People’s Deputy of Ukraine,
– says the SAPO statement.

According to the investigation, during 2021 and 2022, the suspect took possession of assets that exceeded the indicated official income and savings for this period by more than 20 million hryvnia. At the same time, her official income for this period and savings amounted to no more than 2.7 million hryvnia, which the suspect used for other purposes.

Thus, the people’s deputy illegally enriched herself in the amount of more than 20 million hryvnia. As noted, for the funds received, the people’s chosen one subsequently purchased a house near Odessa, where she now lives.

Her actions are qualified under the article on illegal enrichment, the sanction of which provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of five to ten years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to three years.

It should be noted that the Anti-Corruption Center reports that two years ago it submitted a statement to Prosecutor General Andrei Kostin and reported that Allahverdiyeva received as a gift almost 20 million hryvnia and a Swiss watch worth 310 thousand hryvnia, inlaid with 11 white diamonds.

The donor was her father, but from public data it followed that his official income did not allow him to make such gifts. However, according to the CPC, the Prosecutor General then refused to begin proceedings against the deputy from Servant of the People.

“This case also demonstrates that the prosecutor general should not have the exclusive right to open cases against people’s deputies. But the head of the SAPO should also have the authority to register proceedings against people’s deputies for corruption crimes,” they concluded.
