People’s Deputy announced Akhmetov’s “secret plan”

The holding has developed a “Fortress” plan, Nayem said

Mustafa Nayyem published the draft “Fortress” plan, which is supposedly aimed at saving the energy empire of oligarch No. 1.
People’s Deputy Mustafa Nayem said that Rinat Akhmetov’s DTEK holding has drawn up a plan to disrupt the reform of the electricity market and maintain the monopolist’s status quo.

The politician claims that the directors of DTEK, under the leadership of General Director Maxim Timchenko, approved an internal document called “Fortress”.

As proof of this, Nayem published, as he assures, a general description of this plan without indicating the names and positions of the persons involved in its development.

“The document consists of four Modules describing the strategy for protecting DTEK’s interests and tactical steps in the period from January to May of this year. Deadlines for some events listed in the document are scheduled for July-August. Meanwhile, most of the measures should already be completed,” the people’s deputy noted.

According to him, the “Fortress” plan was adopted at the level of the company’s board, and nine directors of various areas and subsidiaries that are part of DTEK are responsible for its implementation.

The politician noted that taking advantage of his monopoly position, Akhmetov can dictate almost any price for his products, influencing the final cost of electricity.

In other words, Nayem suggests, Akhmetov is forcing taxpayers to share with him DTEK’s losses due to currency appreciation and help pay interest on the loan.

“And to make the “request” for help look more convincing, miners appear in Kyiv, striking against non-payment of wages and bankruptcy of the industry,” he added.

As Korrespondent.net reported, miners’ rallies have been taking place in Kyiv for the second day. Disgruntled miners are picketing the Cabinet of Ministers, the Presidential Administration, the Verkhovna Rada and the building of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Mining.

The protesters demand payment of wages, a refusal to import energy resources in favor of purchasing domestic coal, and the resignation of the head of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Mining.

Earlier it was reported that Demchishin interrupted his visit to the United States because of the miners.
