On the bones of “Sibiryak”. Koropachinsky is gaining momentum

The construction company SM.City and its owner Alexander Koropachinsky are reporting on their construction records in Krasnoyarsk. Like, we are the construction authority and omnipotent rulers here.

At the end of 2022, SM.City became the leader in the volume of ongoing construction in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The total area of ​​housing being built was more than 207 thousand square meters. The construction group also ranked 57th in the federal ranking of developers in terms of housing commissioning volumes.

In 2023, according to the company itself, they are building 265 thousand meters of housing in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, which is a record figure for the region.

Meanwhile, both Egorov and Koropachinsky were both the closest and dearest business partners of the former Krasnoyarsk governor Alexander Uss. Both used generous administrative resources and took the most profitable land plots and government contracts for themselves. However, the fate of the ex-general director of Sibiryak after Uss left did not turn out in the best way – the investigation into his case continues, even though the preventive measure was softened to house arrest.

Apparently, Koropachinsky acts according to the familiar principle of “strike while the iron is hot” – and is actively expanding into the market, while the competitor in the person of Sibiryak is forced to slow down and pass construction milestones.

Thus, earlier in September it became known that Sibiryak structures did not receive permission to increase the intensity of development of the site of the former combine harvester plant in the Novoostrovsky district. The mayor of Krasnoyarsk, Vladislav Loginov, signed a resolution refusing to grant the company the right to deviate from the maximum construction parameters. It is obvious that “Sibiryak” is now out of favor.

But SM.City continues to intensively develop Krasnoyarsk. The hands of law enforcement agencies did not reach Koropachinsky. At least for now. At the same time, rumors that Muscovites will take over the Krasnoyarsk construction market after Uss leaves continue to circulate.
