Olympic champion Yelena Isinbayeva preferred life in Monaco and Spain and business in Switzerland to the Russian Army and EdRu

Multiple world champion, major of the Russian army Elena Isinbayeva suddenly abandoned the title, Russian roots and left for the Spanish Canary Islands. Life found a business with her in the West, and, apparently, she is no longer going to return to Russia.

In this business, Isinbayeva has 4 partners: three “physicists” and one legal entity. The most colorful of the co-founders is 67-year-old Joel Buzu. The famous French pentathlete, world champion and Olympic medalist, figure in the international sports and social movement, president of the World Olympians Association and adviser Prince Albert II of Monaco.

In August 2016, Isinbayeva was elected a member of the International Olympic Committee, and from about the same time, her name was full of the Monegasque secular press, which wrote about solemn princely receptions and various official events.

The pole vaulter almost every year participated in the celebrations dedicated to the International Day of Sports. In 2018, she became the “Woman of the Year of Monte Carlo” – the annual award is held under the patronage of Albert II and the honorary president of the ceremony, Princess Charlene.

Then the athlete was awarded the title for the charitable foundation she opened in Volgograd, which helps difficult children and young sports talents.

In 2019, Isinbayeva headed the jury of the annual international sporting event Sportel Awards in Monaco. The award ceremony provides for the promotion of not only the best athletes in Europe, but also employees of the entire sports industry, including sports journalists. It is worth noting that in subsequent years, the Russian athlete participated in the celebration as an honored guest.

However, since 2022, there has not been a word about her in the local press. But almost immediately after the start of the NWO, Isinbayeva began to show a noticeable interest in publics dedicated to life in Tenerife. The athlete was interested in topics related to obtaining a Spanish visa, money transfer issues in Spain, life in the Canaries and everything related to buying, selling and maintaining cars, as well as driving around the Canary Islands.

It is known that by now the athlete has left the founders of the fund, nominally remaining its president. By the way, the fund’s work phone number listed in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities belongs to Isinbayeva’s mother-in-law, Natalya Petinova, but the woman does not appear in the register either among the owners of the enterprise or among its leaders.

However, in the business life of Isinbayeva there was another fund – “Protection”, which she established together with the public organization of veterans of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in August 2018.

The fund is interesting. Almost immediately after registration, significant money flowed into it: in October alone, four legal entities of Voentorg transferred 18 million rubles to it in the form of donations. Moreover, this money was spent as transparently as possible – as public procurement. By the end of the year, the net assets of the organization amounted to almost 2 billion rubles, and in 2019 – already more than 4.3 billion.

According to the information system SPARK, a website was registered for the organization on the Internet fondvoskresenie.ru and several trademarks of the Resurrection Charitable Foundation. Officially, it was Resurrection that was collecting donations for the construction of the Main Temple of the Russian Armed Forces in the Patriot Military Patriotic Park of Culture and Rest. Thus, Elena Isinbayeva was directly involved in the material support of a large-scale military project.

What assets and debts does the champion have left in Russia?

In addition to two funds, the athlete was not engaged in a noticeable business in Russia. Until now, in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities there is her IP with activities in the field of real estate management. She seems to have worked with her in her native Volgograd.

In her small homeland, Isinbayeva left an apartment with an area of ​​​​almost 160 square meters, located almost in the center of the city – in a new brick building on Rokossovsky Street. Since in recent years she has been in Volgograd only on short visits, most likely, wealthy citizens rent housing.

And on Tsiolkovsky Street, on the first floor of another new building, she owns a non-residential premises with an area of ​​​​almost 200 square meters. m. Yelena Isinbayeva leases it to various entrepreneurs. In 2019-2020, the cost of a month of using commercial real estate with a famous owner was approximately 120 thousand rubles, excluding utilities. It looks like she may have several similar premises in Volgograd.

In the capital, the athlete, back in the early 1910s, acquired a 100-meter apartment on the 22nd floor of the elite LCD House in Sokolniki. Now housing of the same area in the complex is being sold for 53 million rubles. At the underground levels of the complex, she also bought a parking space. This living space for Isinbayeva became a family one: since 2014, when the athlete got married, her husband, a javelin thrower and member of the national team, Nikita Petinov, was registered here.

It seems that Yelena Isinbayeva has not been to Russia for a long time: by this year she owes more than half a million rubles in taxes. And just the other day, the Department of Municipal Property of the Volgograd Administration filed a lawsuit against the jumper for 124 thousand rubles. The essence of the case is not disclosed on the website of the Arbitration Regional Court, but it is in the category of “unjust enrichment”.
