Oleg Kuprienko: from the life of a boorish hater of dogs and journalists. PART 1
Elections to the Verkhovna Rada according to the proportional system allow those who could not win in a majoritarian district even with the help of bribing voters to enter the ranks of people’s deputies. The brawler Oleg Kuprienko in his native Chernigov does not have the best reputation, and therefore he was always unlucky in the elections until he received a passing place on the list of Lyashko’s Radical Party. But even among his odious comrades-in-arms, Kuprienko stands out for his boorish attacks against those whom he considers inferior to himself, and for his cowardly servility before the powerful.
However, those who consider Kuprienko their tamed ally do not know that he can easily bite the hand that stops feeding him. For this man, who for unknown reasons hates our smaller brothers, himself resembles a dog – in the worst sense of the word. Perhaps that’s why he hates them?
Oleg Kuprienko: teacher-businessman-lawyer
People’s Deputy of Ukraine Kuprienko Oleg Vasilievich was born on August 18, 1964 in the village of Smyach, Shchorsovsky (now Snovsky) district of the Chernihiv region, where his mother still lives on Komsomolskaya Street (if it has not yet been renamed), about the recalculation of whose pension he was so concerned about (about this a little lower). This is all that can be learned from his obscenely short biography, which is quite understandable: before his election to the Rada, Kuprienko was a gray provincial, occasionally mentioned only in the local Chernigov media, and then only in the context of scandals.
After graduating from school (according to him, with a gold medal), Oleg Kuprienko entered the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics. If the figure of Kuprienko suddenly appeared in your imagination, standing next to Stephen Hawking’s wheelchair, then you are very mistaken. It was only the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the Chernigov Pedagogical Institute, which trained teachers of physics and mathematics. After graduation, Oleg Kuprienko worked as a teacher for 8 years, and then went into business.
His wife Tatyana Aleksandrovna Kuprienko (b. 1959) also worked as a teacher and then as a head teacher at school No. 15 (information from residents of Chernigov). In 1985, their son Sergei Kuprienko was born – the current heir to his parent’s business. It is worth noting here that this joyful event happened when the father of the family, Oleg Vasilyevich, was still studying at the pedagogical institute, but by that time his wife should have graduated long ago. Which raises a curious question, from the point of view of “glossy magazines,”: how did they meet? But the “yellow press”, already specializing in piquant scandals, would probably be interested in the story, also told by the residents of Chernigov, about how 8 years ago Mr. Kuprienko walked around with a black eye under his eye, given by the husband of one of his young “favorites”, to which he was always very willing.
Having given up teaching without money in the 90s, Oleg Kuprienko went into business. According to him, he was involved in the trade in petroleum products, but this business was under the tight “roof” of the bureaucratic mafia and organized crime groups, and a simple school teacher could only count on a position as a cashier at a gas station. It is obvious that Kuprienko did not say much about his business – both past and present. For example, it is very interesting why LLC RIF (USREOU 05402329, founded in 1997, real estate) and JSC Yurol (USREOU 22816895, founded in 1995, road transportation), which, according to the declaration of People’s Deputy Kuprienko, previously changed the composition of their owners? The question arises: did the Kuprienko family buy a stake in these enterprises, or perhaps “squeeze it out”? Well, yes, if a simple Ukrainian math teacher could easily go into the oil business, then why shouldn’t he later retrain as a raider? Or maybe this is why Oleg Kuprienko received (or bought) a law degree at the private “Kiev International University”?
A lot can be explained by information from sources who reported on Oleg Kuprienko’s connections with criminal businessman Valery Dubil (now he is also a people’s deputy). Dubil, being the son of a military man, grew up in Priluki (Chernigov region), near the famous Soviet military airfield, which Dubil’s comrades looted in the 90s, dismantling it to bare ground. Dubil is also known as one of the leaders of the organized crime group “Europe” (and the owner of the FC and charitable foundation of the same name), who had connections with the Russian organized crime group “Solntsevskie”. So here are the sources Skelet.Info They reported that in the past Kuprienko was Dubil’s “six”; they were even members of the regional organization “Batkivshchyna” together, but then for some reason Dubil kicked him out. Kuprienko first tried to fit into the ranks of UDAR, but was unsuccessful – and then he moved to the Lyashkovites, soon heading the Chernigov branch of the Radical Party.

Also in Dubil’s group, along with Kuprienko, was Alexey Korzh, also an active member of the opposition in 2010-2013. and an activist of the second Maidan, who in 2014 headed the local Right Sector organization. Korzh “became famous” for the fact that after the victory of the “revolution of dignity” he hastened to demolish the bronze monument to Lenin in the city, while the fate of 2.5 tons of non-ferrous metal (worth several thousand dollars) remained unknown.

Alexey Korzh
In May 2008, Oleg Kuprienko obtained a lawyer’s certificate and immediately opened his own office (it is not listed in his declaration), where he later placed his son Sergei. Oleg Kuprienko immediately picked up the regalia: first he declared himself the best lawyer in Chernigov, then an “expert on legal issues,” and after the second Maidan he managed to become the chairman of the Chernigov Bar Council. And this despite the fact that in 2012 he was almost deprived of his lawyer’s certificate on charges of illegally obtaining it. But Kuprienko managed to use his involvement in the opposition, in whose ranks he hid and became an active participant in its actions, at which he enthusiastically shouted “get the prisoner out!”
By the way, the story of Kuprienko’s “election” as chairman of the Chernigov Bar Council was described quite comprehensively in the local media. Essentially, it was a raider takeover of the organization, organized by Oleg Kuprienko and Nikolai Torbeev – and both were called “personal lawyers” of the then mayor of Chernigov, Alexander Sokolov. By the way, from 2011 to 2014 Sokolov was a regional player, but this did not stop Kuprienko from feeding from his handswhile serving Oleg Lyashko.
As for his professional qualities as a lawyer, residents of Chernigov speak quite negatively about Kuprienko. According to numerous sources Skelet.InfoOleg Kuprienko’s legal activity boiled down to the fact that he negotiated with judges. When it was possible to reach an agreement, he “won” the case, when not, he threw up his hands, and did not even think about returning his fee to the clients. This is confirmed by the comments of Chernigov residents aboutthe bottom of Kuprienko’s custom interviews in the local press (as part of self-PR).

Kuprienko was much better able to protect from justice his colleague in the Radical Party, Chairman of the Shchors (Snovsk) City Council Roman Zub. This former assistant to People’s Deputy Lyashko was elected mayor in 2012 – to which all the forces of the Radical Party were thrown. Before being elected mayor, Zub immediately got burned by a bribe of 18 thousand hryvnia for… permission to place a recycling point on the site of the children’s playground. In August 2014, the court found Zub guilty, but thanks to Kuprienko’s efforts, he was sentenced to 2 years in prison with a suspended sentence. The prosecutor’s office sought a review of the case for a long time, and only in February 2016 a new trial was held over Zub, sentencing him to 5 years in prison. True, it was not possible to carry out the sentence: without waiting for it, Zub fled from the courthouse during the lunch break, after which his traces were lost.
