The author of the petition notes that the gambling market legalized in Ukraine 2 years ago is now filled with either Ukrainian companies associated with the Russian Federation, or directly Russian companies. Among them is the scandalous Russian bookmaker 1xBet, which is trying through the District Administrative Court of Kyiv get your license back to work in Ukraine, as well as a number of other firms, which journalists are defined as “daughters” of 1xBet, operating in Ukraine.
These are the PointLoto, Fansport and BetWinner sites, which, having licenses to operate in Ukraine, are connected in one way or another with the Russian bookmaker 1xBet, as well as the Fonbet bookmaker illegally operating in Ukraine and associated with Alexander Udodov, the son-in-law of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
Along with them, the signatories demand that Volodymyr Zelensky, as chairman of the National Security and Defense Council, impose sanctions on the Ukrainian IT holding TECHIIA and its co-founder Oleg Krot, who are paid to support 1xBet and help the Russian bookmaker enter the Ukrainian market.
As the media previously found out, the $60 million that Oleg Krot allegedly transferred to help the Ukrainian army, but could not explain the origin of this money and where exactly it was directed, could be 1xBet’s payment for obtaining licenses in Ukraine. Oleg Krot himself in an interview with bihus.info did not hideof his support to Russian bookmakers: “This is the same company as many others that make money. If a company does not pay taxes in Russia, but will pay them in Ukraine, and large ones, what is the problem?
The media also substantiated the direct relationship of the TECHIIA holding with the Russian bookmaker 1xBet: the chief lawyer of TECHIIA, Roman Rodin, turned out to be the brother of Alexander Rodin, director of Your Betting Company LLC, representing 1xBet in Ukraine.
Recall, as previously reported, the Gambling and Lottery Regulatory Commission handed over NSDC list of persons involved in the work of 1xBet for inclusion in the sanctions lists.
