The National Anti-Corruption Bureau tracked down the former director of the state enterprise Ivano-Frankivsk Grain Plant Vladimir Degtyar, who in 2020 was informed of suspicion of embezzlement of property.

According to sources, in December 2020, the case of the ex-director of the State Enterprise “Ivano-Frankivsk KHP” Degtyar was transferred to NABU. Prior to this, the case was investigated by investigators of the Investigation Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. It was they who informed Degtyar of the suspicion.

In January 2021, the NABU detective put the suspect on the wanted list. Two years later, in January 2023, bureau employees tracked down Degtyar and detained him. On January 13, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court refused to arrest the suspect and released him on UAH 1,553,400 bail. Also, the ex-director of the State Enterprise “Ivano-Frankivsk KHP” was assigned the following duties: to arrive at every request; not to leave the Kharkiv region without permission; report a change in your place of residence and place of work; refrain from communicating with witnesses in this criminal proceeding; deposit your passport and wear an electronic bracelet.
Recall that in NABU transferred the case Deputy Chairman of the Chernivtsi Regional Military Administration on humanitarian ambulances. Formerly Attorney General’s Office handed over to NABU the case of officials of the State Food and Consumer Service.
