Against the actor Vladimir Epifantsev filed a police report because of his Russophobic statements. The actor suffered after the ban on fly agaric mushrooms in Russia.
Why Epifantsev insults Russia
According to the SHOT telegram channel, a police report was filed against 51-year-old actor Vladimir Epifantsev because of his anti-Russian statements, which he made a month ago against the backdrop of the fly agaric ban.
The application has been accepted. Law enforcement officers have already begun an investigation and are considering whether to initiate a criminal case.
Vladimir Epifantsev loves shocking behavior and has been repeatedly noted for his Russophobia; for example, he recently stated that he is not a patriot and does not consider himself a Russian.
His tongue was finally loosened recently, after the State Duma banned the collection, acquisition, storage and sale of mushrooms listed in the Red Book, including psilocybin and psilocin, as well as fly agarics. Punishment is provided in the form of imprisonment for up to nine years with a fine of up to three million rubles. This turned out to be a blow for the actor. For the last ten years, he has been actively promoting the “philosophy of fly agaric eating” through his pages, and has positioned himself as a spiritual mentor to “converts.”

How Epifantsev became famous
In the nineties, Vladimir Epifantsev graduated from the Shchukin Higher Theater School and immediately began playing at the Vakhtangov Theater.
The actor’s first fame came after starring in the scandalous and now banned film “The Green Elephant”. Then a whole series of successful films came out, where he played tough guys: the thriller “Lucky”, the tragicomedy “I’m Staying” and the drama “Alive”. The success was strengthened by filming in the film “Generation P”. In the second half of the tenths, it seemed that his career was in decline. But in the last couple of years, he has often starred in hit television series.

The actor’s personal life is stormy. The first wife left Vladimir Epifantsev (by his own admission) because of his despoticism. The second is because of his incontinence and constant hysterics, he pays her alimony for his two sons. Now Epifantsev is dating a girl 24 years younger. Judging by social networks, the couple lives either in Thai Phuket or in Moscow.
What Epifantsev owns in Moscow
Vladimir Epifantsev has housing in “Patriki” – the most fashionable and glamorous quarter of Moscow, located between the Boulevard Ring and the Patriarch’s Ponds. His three-room apartment is located in a historic apartment building built in a neoclassical style. We are talking about a cultural heritage site, a masterpiece of architecture. The façade is decorated with antique signs; the oval window with stucco molding and bay windows decorated with bas-reliefs look unusual. Last fall, living space in this building was put up for sale for 77 million rubles, with exactly the same characteristics (floor, area) as Epifantsev’s three-ruble apartment. Until a buyer is found, such real estate can be rented out for approximately 150–200 thousand rubles.
If you believe Epifantsev’s social networks, he lives in the same place where he works, in his rented office in the Fabrika Center for Creative Industries.
This is an art cluster favored by the capital’s bohemians in an ancient building on the territory of the Basmanny District.

Epifantsev’s other apartment – a two-room apartment (he received correspondence at its address) – is located in an avant-garde constructivist building, hidden in the courtyards of Tverskaya behind the majestic Stalinist buildings. The Kremlin is just a couple of minutes walk away. The price of such housing is about 25 million rubles. It is best to rent it daily for 8–12 thousand rubles.

One of Vladimir Epifantsev’s apartments is now occupied by his eldest 18-year-old son. These are spacious apartments in an elegant sand-colored Stalin building on Novy Arbat. From here it is a stone’s throw to the Moscow River and the Garden Ring. The price of such real estate is up to 45 million rubles.
