“Colleagues went to the site and confirmed that the structure had been dismantled. In this regard, we plan to drop the lawsuit, because the problem has been settled, ”the press service of the Moscow City Property Department told RBC, noting that the Moscow State Inspectorate for Real Estate controlled the dismantling.

We are talking about a construction site that was started by the co-owner of LUKOIL on the roof of a residential building at 18 Skatertny Lane. Interfax notedthat in July 2022, inspectors discovered unauthorized structures on the roof of an apartment building and found out that the rights to the premises located below, on the seventh and eighth floors of the building, belong to Alekperov. Building structures on the roof above these premises were erected without formalized design permits.
On October 11, it became known that the Moscow authorities consider the construction to be unauthorized construction and the Department of City Property filed a lawsuit against Alekperov in the Presnensky Court of Moscow.
Earlier, the press service of the RBC court explained that the authorities in the lawsuit asked the billionaire and founder of LUKOIL (tenth place in the rating of Russian billionaires – 2022 from Forbes with a fortune of $ 10.5 billion) “to eliminate the threat of harm by stopping work on the land.” The authorities also asked “in case of failure to fulfill the obligation to eliminate the threat of harm, to provide the right to take measures to vacate the land,” the court said.
RBC sent a request to the press service of LUKOIL.
At the address Skatertny lane, 18, there is a residential complex “House at the Nikitsky Gates”. According to the descriptions on the websites of real estate agencies, there are 23 apartments.
At the end of April, Alekperov left the board of directors of LUKOIL (he owns 28.3% of the shares) and resigned from the post of president of the company, which he held for almost 30 years. He made this decision after he came under British sanctions. He is banned from entering the country and his assets are to be frozen.
