Chernigov Mayor Vladislav Atroshenko stated that he was being followed and filed a statement about it to the SBU and the police, writes Apostrophe.
He wrote about this on Facebook.
“I applied to the SBU and the GUNP in the Chernihiv region. I believe that I am under constant, unlawful surveillance,” he said.
He added a photo of his statement to the police and the Security Service.

“Today, at about 2:20 p.m., I recorded the fact of surveillance of my house by two strong men dressed in leather jackets and black knitted hats, of an athletic build. One of the men took pictures of my house from the park named after M. Bogdan Khmelnitsky from the side of the street. Mstislavskaya. I believe that I am under constant, unlawful surveillance,” Atroshenko wrote.
The mayor of Chernihiv emphasized in a statement that photographing civilian objects under martial law is unacceptable.
He asks law enforcement agencies to check the facts set forth in the statement and inform him of the results.
Earlier it was reported that that the Yavorivsky District Court of the Lviv region removed the mayor of Chernihiv, Vladislav Atroshenko, from his post because at the beginning of the war he took his family out of the shelling in an official car. The Chestno movement, the Association of Cities of Ukraine, the Committee of Voters of Ukraine, lawyers and other experts called it political pressure on mayors and an attack on local self-government.
