And this happened for the reason that his daughter-in-law and mother of his grandson Marina Pelykh (wife of the deceased son Yuri Pelykh) married Andrei Kravets in 2003. Who in 2004 became so closely acquainted with Prime Minister Yanukovych’s entourage that he became his confidant. In 2010, Yanukovych, who returned to Kyiv as president, appointed Kravets as head of the Administrative Department of the Administration, but Azarov made a reshuffle in Ukrbud: Yuriy Pelykh became the chairman of the board of directors of PJSC Construction Company Ukrbud, and Maxim Mikitas was appointed general director of the Ukrbud corporation. Perhaps his father again helped him in this.

“Donetsk” chose “Ukrbud” for themselves also because of its intricate schemes: it was profitable for them to carry out construction under the roof of a formally state corporation, with their offshore companies, with countless subcontractors, with front enterprises – in a word, to reduce production costs to a minimum , taxes and responsibility to immediately withdraw and hide the money received. It’s not for nothing that the Pshonka prosecutor’s family personally “protected” the construction issue in Kyiv! But what role did CEO Maxim Mikitas play in this corruption tangle? This question can only be answered by the Prosecutor General’s Office and NABU. Skelet.Info it is only known that he was not the chairman, and also had his own stake in these schemes. In particular, in 2011, his father’s company Ukrenergomontazh, operating within the Ukrbud corporation, received a tender ($12.5 million) for the construction of a new ventilation pipe for the 3rd and 4th power units of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. The contractor was the company of Mikitas-son “Ukrstroymontazh”, which saved on something, did not pay someone, stole something – and as a result, the pipe structure was made of low-quality materials with gross technological violations (the rushed workers did not even install all the bolts ). A few months after the commissioning of the facility, the pipe was recognized as an emergency object that threatened to fall on the roof of the sarcophagus of the 4th block and destroy it – which could lead to a terrible disaster! And now this company is building a nuclear waste storage facility… Lord have mercy!!

Maxim Mikitas: From Klitschko to tomorrow!
Euromaidan did not affect the position of Maxim Mikitas in any way: appointed general director of Ukrbud by Azarov, he continued to hold this position until August 2016, when he was elected as a people’s deputy in the mid-term elections in single-mandate district No. 206 (Chernihiv region). But even earlier, in June 2014, he received a mandate as a deputy of Kievsoset, where he was elected on the list of… the UDAR party. How did it happen that the favorite of the Donetsk team, who stood in the center of construction schemes for 4 years, “shoeed” Kyiv and the state budget, entered the electoral list of Vitali Klitschko’s party? Is it really “according to Sergei Levochkin’s quota”, as some sources said? Skelet.Info? It makes no sense to ask Klitschko himself about this, because he and Maxim Mikitas are real buddies – they spend their holidays together in Naples, where they go on a yacht! In November 2017, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NACP) sent an official letter to the mayor of Kyiv with relevant questions, but journalists know nothing about the answers to it.
Well, another scandalous story involving Maxim Mikitas can partially answer this question: the construction of the Solnechnaya Riviera residential complex, which has become one of the symbols of Kyiv corruption and political prostitution. It began back in 2011, on lands obtained illegally and by deception – they were registered for the construction of a water park, dolphinarium and health center in this coastal zone. Previously, the Pobeda sanatorium was located there; centuries-old pine trees grew there. But for the Donetsk team who ruled the capital at that time, this was not a problem. The construction was carried out by two private companies: Terra Capital LLC (owned by Goldsun enterprisis Ltd) and Ukrbud Development LLC (owned by the Belizean offshore company Verist Investment LTD), operating under the roof of Ukrbud. At the same time, Terra Capital took out a loan from Oschadbank (170 million) against the allocated land. But, having taken out a loan, the companies froze construction.

It was enthusiastically resumed in the spring of 2014, when the new Kiev government received its interest in this construction. Actually, this is the most clear link between Maxim Mikitas and Vitali Klitschko. One can say more: the construction received the most powerful support from the Kyiv authorities, and not only the official one: when local residents went out to protest against the construction (in particular, it threatened the UGCC temple standing nearby), the “titushki” were set against them.

Also journalists from the Schemes program noticedthat Maxim Mikitas has recently become a frequent visitor to Bankovaya. He himself “laughed it off”: they say, as a people’s deputy, I take care of the problems of my constituents! However, sources reported that Mikitas found himself a powerful patron in the person of Igor Kononenko, who ordered him not to touch his “protégé” and turn a blind eye to all the scandals associated with them. But here the question arises: why did the “gray eminence” of the president like Mikitas so much?
In addition, in the period 2014-2016. The Riviera developer companies carried out several intricate combinations. For example, Ukrbud Development mortgaged an unfinished house to the company FC Zhytlo-Capital LLC, and Ukrbud bought part of the territory of the complex mortgaged to Oschadbank. As a result, according to lawyers, a conflict has been created when the land belongs to some owners, the knowledge to others, and the apartments in them will be sold to others. On top of that, the construction of “Sunny Riviera” since 2014 has been carried out on the basis of a fake decision of the Economic Court of the city of Sevastopol. Not only fake (it is not in the register), but also illegal – since it was issued on March 24, when Crimea was already controlled by Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism).

Thus, we learned, “hu from Mr. Mikitas,” and that the participants in the tender, “Ukrenergomontazh” and “Ukrstroymontazh,” were family firms of Mikitas from the moment of their establishment. This means that the management of Energoatom, who covered up the “winner of the tender,” simply lied. It’s a somewhat unpleasant feeling when you realize that Energoatom, which manages all nuclear facilities in the country, is lying to you – isn’t it?! However, this state corporation tried to hide much more.
In August 2014, the American company HOLTEC International, which carries out most of the work on the construction of a nuclear waste storage facility (and will receive $1.2 billion out of the allocated $1.46), signed a contract with two companies: UTEM-Engineering LLC (part of into the structure of “UTEM”) and the corporation “Ukrstranstroy”. Actually, these three companies were supposed to carry out this work. However, in the fall of 2016, a raider attack was carried out on UTEM and UTEM-Engineering LLC: unknown persons seized their office, took possession of documentation and keys to bank accounts. And then several months pass, and the tender from Energoatom is won by the long-time competitor of UTEM, the company of Viktor Mikitas’ son. He wins, although he has a persistent negative reputation as a hack and a scammer, who has already disgraced himself more than once while working at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.
Is this an accident, or a planned chain of “special operations” to redistribute the business? But in this case, the greatest concern is not the facts of corruption, but the threat of a man-made disaster emanating from them!
