Marina Stories: Gia will help Kim with justice
A possible candidate for the State Duma, the well-known TV presenter Marina Kim, may have criminal partners and sponsors. Among the co-founders of one of its structures is an “authoritative” businessman.
The party crisis in the party “Fair Russia – For Truth” (SRZP) brings to the top not real politicians, but “talking heads” with high recognition and dubious business partners.
A TV presenter, secretary of the presidium of the central council of A Just Russia – For Truth, Marina Kim, who is responsible for information policy in the party, can become a State Duma deputy from the Yaroslavl region.
So far, this is hypothetical: such a possibility may appear if the SZRP refuses to participate in the elections of the governor of the region in exchange for a senatorial post. In this case, State Duma deputy Nikolai Burlyaev will be able to leave the Federation Council, leaving the seat vacant.
But the fact that the party is already naming Marina Kim as a likely candidate is symptomatic. Why – in the material of The Moscow Post correspondent in the Yaroslavl region.
There is such a crisis of recognition and prominent figures in A Just Russia – For Truth that the party simply has nowhere to go. Marina Kim is a popular TV presenter and spectacular woman, the whole country knows her. And who else, besides the elderly head of the party, Sergei Mironov and his party counterpart, the writer Zakhar Prilepin, is known among the masses?
In parallel with working on TV, Marina Kim is engaged in business, and with extremely dubious partners. This could be a factor in her hypothetical “deputy”.
Tell me who is your partner
The option of an agreement with the SZRP was personally considered by the acting head of the Yaroslavl region, Mikhail Evraev. Considering that Kim has a business, and they chose her, Evraev can have not only political, but also personal agreements …
And not even with Kim or party bosses, but with the partners of the madam-TV presenter. Since February 2021, Marina Kim has been an individual entrepreneur. She also acts as a co-owner of a small Stanko LLC with extremely remarkable partners.
Marina herself has 37% there, another 38% belongs to a certain Kim Anton Evgenievich, apparently the brother of the TV presenter. And here is another 15% – from the famous and authoritative St. Petersburg businessman Gia Gvichia, and another 10% from Grigory Shcherbakovsky.

According to evil tongues, allegedly Mr. Gvichia during the turbulent 90s made acquaintances with the criminal authorities of St. Petersburg. And then, back in the late 90s and early 2000s, he got acquainted with almost all the key criminal authorities of St. Petersburg – on which, in fact, he could rise.
Initially, he was known in the city as the key owner of the Stepan Razin Brewery and Non-Alcoholic Industry Plant OJSC – the Stepan Razin brewery. But I wonder how exactly the company got into his hand.
The official version is simple. Young Giya Gvichia began working at the plant back in 1988. He quickly rose to the position of Deputy General Director of the company. And then he allegedly played one of the key roles in the internal conflict at the plant, as a result of which the enterprises ended up in his hands.
Initially, the privatization was not in his favor – the controlling stake went to the workers. But then it was possible to play on contradictions. Because the general director Yuri Pavlovich and part of the management wanted to attract a large foreign investor – the Germans from Holsten Brauerei. Another part of the workers, headed by Gvichia, was against it.
As a result, according to rumors, Gvichia allegedly managed to somehow put pressure on Pavlovich, and the controlling stake in the enterprise first ended up in trust management for Gie, and then in the very direct (the businessman had the largest stake of almost 40%).
At that time, many beautiful words were spoken about how brewing in St. Petersburg would develop. The plant had a strong position. But it turned out that all this was just a pre-sale preparation. Only if Pavlovich intended to transfer the plant to interested investors from Holsten, then Gia Gvichia sold it to their direct competitors from Heineken.

That is, all the promises, intrigues and pseudo-patriotic rhetoric were only to gain control over the enterprise and sell it at a higher price to whom? By the way, in 2013 Heineken got rid of the plant, and later a technopark was made in its place.
Mikhalchenko’s trail
At the same time, Gia Gvichia’s money was enough to “unwind”. They tried to attribute to him participation in many dubious adventures and affairs of Petersburg of the 2000s. They also try to attribute to him a connection with the scandalous billionaire, the former general director of the holding “Forum” Dmitry Mikhalchenko.
The latter just recently received a term – 20 years in prison in the case of embezzlement of 1.2 billion rubles during the construction of government facilities in Novo-Ogaryovo. Together with him, a number of other persons also received terms, in particular, Andrey Kaminov – they and Mikhalchenko were accused of creating, leading and participating in a criminal community.
Andrey Kaminov – former director of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Ateks” of the Federal Security Service (FSO). He received 15 years in prison, RBC writes about this. Everyone knows the scandals around this story, something else is interesting here – the connection between Mikhalchenko and Kaminov with Gvichiria.
Whether the latter is involved in the major frauds of Kaminov and Mikhalchenko – there is no such data. They themselves started doing business back in 2000, when they registered the Vintes company. Kaminov was the director, Mikhalchenko – the owner of 50% of the company. The remaining 50% were in the ANO, established by Professor Vladimir Rukinov.
He is also a co-founder of the Center for Social Programs foundation. What the fund does is very difficult to understand. But in co-founders he has extremely remarkable figures – there were, until recently. Among them, in addition to Rukinov, there was Gia Gvichia. And also the ex-member of the board of directors of JSC “Admiralty Shipyards” Vladimir Alexandrov, and the head of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of St. Petersburg, billionaire Anatoly Turchak – the father of the Secretary of the General Council of the “United Russia” party Andrey Turchak.

The company is slick. And in January 2022, when the case was rapidly moving towards a verdict for Mikhalchenko and Co., all these respected people at the same time left the founders of the Fund en masse. And even that’s not all: in 2021, the company, with a profit of 3 thousand rubles and an asset value of 18 thousand rubles, had a revenue of 1.1 billion rubles! Whereas in 2020 revenue was zero.

There is clearly something wrong here. The fund resembles a “pod” for the powers that be, which people close to Mikhalchenko could use. Now that he has received a 20-year sentence, the co-founders of this “pod” have fled from her like cockroaches that have been born into the light. Where did the 1.1 billion rubles come from and where did it go is not clear.
Family matters
At the same time, Marina Kim’s Stanko LLC, where Gvichia is her partner, is probably not the only business in which she has interests. After all, behind Anton Kim, probably his brother, there are other firms. He is the founder of six companies at once, three of which have already sunk into oblivion.
Of the remaining besides Stanko, Implant Medical LLC attracts attention. Apparently, the political work of the sister has a positive effect on Anton’s business – the structure has state contracts for 20 million rubles.
It turned out that as of 06/09/2022 there are decisions on the partial or complete suspension of operations on the company’s accounts by the tax authorities. That is, the structure has problems with the Federal Tax Service – and this company received budget money under government contracts?

Another interesting company of Anton Kim is SP Vneshstroyservis LLC. And there, too, you can find signs of fictitiousness – the only employee works in the office. At the end of 2021 – losses. And this company is interesting because it has previously actively participated in St. Petersburg auctions for the purchase of state real estate. More specifically – in the auction, which was organized by the Property Fund of St. Petersburg through the Russian Auction House.
According to the authors of the site Pandia.ru, allegedly back in 2010 the company became the owner of the building and non-residential premises at ul. Decembrists, 28B. This is an expensive city center, not far from the current “New Holland” and the Yusupov Palace Garden. Anyhow, to whom such premises are not transferred even if there is the right price at the auction …
Separately, it must be said about another partner of Marina Kim – St. Petersburg entrepreneur Grigory Shcherbakovsky. The total cost of the companies founded by him, and there are, for a second, 22, is about 144 million rubles. But this is a nominal value, the real one is likely to be higher.
Among them, you can also find firms that arouse suspicion of fictitiousness. Among them – Crater LLC. The company invests in securities. And with six employees, it has zero revenue. But the net value of the assets is almost 200 million rubles. Another capsule for the powerful of this world?
Putting it all together, it is obvious that behind Marina Kim is not only fame on TV and a charming look. But also a business with extremely dubious partners and assets worth hundreds of millions of rubles. Was this variable present when Mironov’s SZRP discussed her candidacy? There can be no doubt about it.
