On Bankova they are still pretending not to notice the attack of the Dnepropetrovsk oligarch
The temporary truce between the president and the Dnepropetrovsk governor Igor Kolomoisky, whom he fired, appears to be over. The 1+1 TV channel, controlled by the disgraced oligarch, launched an unconventional information war against Petro Poroshenko and the government as a whole, involving the 95th Quarter and his famous comedic talent.
“Nothing for you, but we are pleased”
The first salvos of this war were heard back in the May holidays, when the block workers released two episodes of the humorous series “Fairytale Rus’”, parodying the old Soviet comedy “3+2”. Moreover, in the new version, “3” are cartoon characters parodying Petro Poroshenko, Arseniy Yatsenyuk and Vitaliy Klitschko, and “2” are parody Vladimir Putin (*criminal) and Viktor Yanukovych. The peculiarity of both series is that Putin (*criminal) and Yanukovych naturally look like villains, and the three Ukrainian leaders look like helpless victims. In particular, the parody president and prime minister of Ukraine get hit on the forehead by the cartoon Yanukovych, and the dialogue between the parody Poroshenko and Putin (*criminal) looks like this: “We will declare you aggressors!” “And what?” “Nothing for you, but we are pleased.”
“Where are the Evening Default candies?!”
The same trend continued in the “Evening Quarter” last weekend, only the aforementioned three Ukrainian leaders are opposed by Igor Kolomoisky himself. In a parody, the blockers filed the night on Bankovaya from March 24 to 25, when, after several hours of conversation with the president, the Dnepropetrovsk governor “voluntarily resigned.”
In the plot of “The Quarter” the voluntary nature of resignation is clearly refuted, but this is not the main thing – the main thing is in how the characters are presented. Kolomoisky is presented in a parody, but in such a way that his not very civilized behavior near the Ukrtransnafta office is elevated to a cult – yes, a boor, but a strong personality. But Poroshenko, Yatsenyuk and Klitschko are presented as completely helpless and not very smart characters. Everyone got it – Yatsenyuk (“Why did you stick your tongue in the economy class?”), Tymoshenko (“I’m not Yulka’s disability, you can’t take me off with your hand”), Klitschko (“Vital will have a straw… There’s condensed milk on both sides, there’s emptiness inside “). But most of all – Poroshenko.
“Do you really want it? Then sell Roshen
“In the end, am I the president or not the president?” “You see, you yourself have questions about this.”
“Why, after you swore at this unfortunate journalist near Ukrnafta, not a single story was published on 1+1 about this?” “You are a smart person, tell me? When you screw up, do you throw out a cake to celebrate? A? Hello, garage, why are you silent?! Where are your “Evening Default” candies?! Where are the Karakum Poroshenko-Groysman candies?!”
And the apotheosis of anti-government rhetoric in general: “Are you making a country, Petya? Do you know that nothing will work out for you? Because everyone has gathered here – donut, straw, gelatin, flour, sour cream, sugar. Only from all this you will not make a Kyiv cake. Do you know why? We need eggs.”
“Neighing at the enemy”
It’s hard to believe that all this is being done without Kolomoisky’s knowledge. The chief quartermaster, Vladimir Zelensky, is his personal friend, who was one of the guests at the celebration of the oligarch’s last birthday in Geneva in February of this year. And in the plot itself, as we see, it is clearly shown: “1+1” is Kolomoisky’s channel, which fulfills all his demands and remains silent when the oligarch “messed up”. In addition, a video with the story was posted on Facebook by Kolomoisky’s closest associate, Gennady Korban, accompanied by a laudatory comment: “I was simply shocked by yesterday’s performance by Studio Kvartal-95 – bold, subtle, talented and very funny… With such humor always makes you feel better, healthier, you can drive the enemy beyond Mozhai, and then laugh at him.”
It is interesting that Bankovaya does not react to such attacks. Moreover, they didn’t pay attention to them (or pretend not to). “After the release of Kvartal, there was no reaction from above,” a source in the Presidential Administration told us. At the same time, a source in the Cabinet of Ministers says that Poroshenko may have problems reacting: “After Kolomoisky’s resignation, it became known about the president’s verbal commitments, given in the presence of Yatsenyuk and Turchynov, that in exchange for a peaceful resignation, Beni’s business would not be touched. And now it’s difficult for Poroshenko to openly fight against the oligarch.”
“Korban was nominated to troll the president”
Meanwhile, the struggle for the vacated district in the Chernihiv region is unfolding, in which confrontation is expected between the head of the State Administration of Affairs Sergei Berezenko (the president’s creature) and Igor Kolomoisky’s comrade-in-arms Gennady Korban. Korban has already officially announced his participation in the race for the People’s Deputy mandate, offered to bet on the winner and invited everyone to watch the Europa League final with the participation of Dnepr in Chernigov on the big screen. Berezenko has not yet entered the fight, but the president has already appointed him coordinator of the Regional Development Council in the Chernihiv region, and his competitors accuse the head of the State Administration that his team, which previously worked for the ex-mayor of Kyiv Leonid Chernovetsky, is “sowing the district with buckwheat.”
However, the authorities are confident that Berezenko does not need such methods. “In the Chernihiv region there are always candidates approved by the authorities,” a source in the Cabinet of Ministers told us. — And here we are also talking about the 205th district, which was won by the recently appointed governor Kulich in the fall. Everything there will work for Berezenko. I think Kolomoisky himself understands this, and that’s why he nominated Korban only to troll the president.”
Earlier, on March 25, Petro Poroshenko dismissed Igor Kolomoisky from the post of head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration. This was preceded by a week-long conflict around the companies Ukrnafta and Ukrtransnafta, over which Kolomoisky’s Privat group is fighting for influence.
After his dismissal, Kolomoisky stated that he intended to focus on business and social activities, and Poroshenko noted that there was nothing personal in his decision and called the former governor a patriot.
Immediately after this, the GPU resumed a criminal case (10 years ago) against Igor Kolomoisky on charges of organizing an attempt on the life of lawyer Sergei Karpenko.
