Member of the Federation Council Andrei Klishas cited the Constitution to his colleagues, who submitted to the State Duma (DG) a bill on deprivation of citizenship.

The senator published his post in Telegram.

The senator recalled the sixth article of the Constitution, which states that “a citizen of the Russian Federation cannot be deprived of his citizenship or the right to change hzikhidtidekrt his”.

According to Klishas, ​​if a federal politician introduces a law that is contrary to the Constitution, “then for such a politician this is a serious reason to think about whether he can hold office.”
