The magistrate of the court district No. 162 of St. Petersburg managed a warning for the deputy general director online cinema Okko Elvira Dmitrievskaya because of film labeling. This was reported by the joint press service of the courts of the city.

For service Okko and on Dmitrievskaya as an official, they drew up protocols on the “demonstration” of films with LGBT relationships without specifying the restriction 18+ (Part 2 of Article 6.21.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

The reason was the labeling of 16+ on several films, including The Miseducation of Cameron Post, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, Perfect Strangers, Black Swan, The New Mutants, The Barber of England, Easy Easy Behavior”, “The Imitation Game” and “Little Italy”.

In August, the service itself was already fined one million rubles. In the case of Dmitrievskaya, the court considered that the violations had already been eliminated.

Under this article, which appeared in December 2022 as part of a package of amendments on “LGBT propaganda”, both online cinemas and TV channels themselves and their managers are fined.

On August 17, in Moscow, a fine of 200,000 rubles was imposed on Yandex CEO Artyom Savinovsky for the second consecutive time. In St. Petersburg, Anatoly Slepenkov, the editor-in-chief of Tricolor Cinema and TV, was fined the same amount because of the Game with the Keys, where there is a scene of sexual intercourse between two men.
