How “later” turns into “never”, or Why does nothing change in life?

Do you know why I insist that the exercise be done on the same day you hear about it?

There are two reasons for this.

✅First: only practical actions build the received information into consciousness and make it your new skill.

You can read a lot of sensible books, learn a lot of useful exercises, but until you try them on yourself, you will not understand HOW they work. As a result, you will not get results.

Knowing how to plant a tree will not help you grow a real fruitful garden. To get the fruits, you need to pick up a shovel and plant a tree in the ground with your own hands. Then there will be other actions, but without this one, the very first one, you will get … absolutely nothing.

The second reason is that the memory is short, the mind is lazy, and habits are always stronger than the desire for novelty.

That is why people, dreaming of changes in their lives, continue to perform their usual actions without changing anything.

➖ If you leave it untested for later, it will “roll into the far corner on the shelf of memory”, and you may not remember it later.

And this is a minus skill that itself asked for in your hands.

And minus the missed opportunities that this skill could help you realize.

And vice versa, having performed an action at least once and having received a result, the skill will be fixed in memory and will be issued by the subconscious mind as one of the options for possible actions for solving subsequent tasks. And this means that when you once again solve a repetitive task, you can perform a new action and get a new result.

This is how development happens.

Why am I leading all this?

❓ I’m wondering: when you receive tools that you think are useful in my posts, do you complete tasks or just save them for later?

And if you do, have you ever returned to them in order to still fulfill them?
