On June 27, mass detentions of natives of Azerbaijan took place in Yekaterinburg: about 50 people were taken to the Investigative Committee to check their involvement in murders and attempted murders committed in 2001-2011.
During the mass detentions in Yekaterinburg, two suspects died, while others were taken to court with visible signs of beatings.
In response to the detentions in Yekaterinburg on July 1, Baku reported the detention of “OCG members” from Russia. In a video of the detainees, some of them can be seen with bruises and bruises. According to “Important Stories”, at least three of the detainees are programmers from Russia. In addition, the Azerbaijani authorities searched the Sputnik Azerbaijan agency and arrested two of its employees.
