Source Holcim has signed an agreement to transfer its Russian assets to local management. The Kolomna and Volsky plants were still managed by the general director Maxim Goncharov. – This agreement completes Holcim's withdrawal from the Russian market, which was announced in March 2022. Holcim and the Russian management are making every effort to make this process as comfortable as possible for employees, customers and all parties involved.
At the same time, it is specified that “the business will continue to operate in Russia under a new brand. And the agreement between the headquarters and the Russian management team will be implemented in accordance with all the requirements of Russian legislation and existing approval procedures from the authorities “. Holsim (Rus) Building Materials LLC in Kolomna and Holsim (Rus) LLC in Volsk are headed by the same director Maxim Goncharov.
Recall that recently the news of the company is connected not only with the withdrawal from Russia, but also with attempts to take over its raider.
In July, Holsim announced a raider attack after unknown persons submitted applications to the tax office for re-registration. The agency suspended this process, but after that, “portfolio investor” Yevgeny Kostyukevich showed up in Forbes. He announced an agreement with Holcim Group and the purchase of the Russian business of the holding for 11 billion rubles.
In mid-September, the parent company Holcim Auslandbeteiligungs GmbH achieved in the Moscow Region arbitration a ban on the re-registration of participants in five Russian companies controlled by it, including Saratov's Holcim (Rus).
The lawsuit itself is connected with the recognition of the contract as not concluded, which probably gave rise to a change of owners. The representative of Holcim substantiated the ban by the threat of the transfer of his shares in the authorized capital of subsidiaries in favor of an individual unknown to him – Yevgeny Kostyukevich on the basis of an agreement dated January 17, which the plaintiff in the claim itself asks to recognize as not concluded.
“BV” found out that on October 17 Holsim Rus Building Materials LLC filed a counterclaim within the framework of this case. As part of the case, Kostyukevich and his partner Ruslan Dzhakuev had to provide the original of the January contract with Holcim Rus SM and the parent company Holcim Auslandbeteiligungs GmbH. Here, all the Russian subdivisions of the holding, including the Volsk plant Holsim Rus, are listed as the third party in the case. . However, later the arbitration clarified that it was still about the recognition of the supply contract dated December 20 last year as not concluded.
In addition, BV previously reported five lawsuits against Russian subsidiaries of Holcim in the amount of more than 2 billion rubles at once. In all cases, the alleged reason was the non-delivery of goods under a paid contract. And the plaintiffs are like one Moscow company, but their founders, judging by the TIN, come from Perm, where the “portfolio investor” Yevgeny Kostyukevich is from.
