Irkutsk policy is becoming more and more “emasculated” – fewer and fewer odious and eccentric politicians, more and more agreed-upon individuals. But paradoxically, the effectiveness of political figures (despite their “strict selection”) does not increase.
A striking example is “Cherche la femme” from Irkutsk politiciansthe long-suffering head of the no less long-suffering Markov municipality Tatiana Makarevich. And don’t be fooled by the fact that Tatyana Sergeevna has disappeared from the radar in recent months. This is probably the “calm before the storm.”
Thus, having been “kissed” by a whole line of regional officials in December last year, this year the Markov administration received an unprecedented “catch” in road contracts. In 2024, eight road sections should be repaired as part of the Transport Framework project in Markova. The head proudly reports this in his Telegram channel:
It is worth noting that the release of the started procurement stated: the results will be announced in the first half of April. But already on April 15 (exactly in the middle of the month), in response to one of the comments, Makarevich personally answers: the results will be announced only within a week.
In general, the announced renovation raised more questions than joy. For example, the comments note that the street of the same name chosen in the Lugovoy microdistrict had already undergone renovations not so long ago. What is the point of repairing a relatively new road when there are a large number of others in much worse condition?
By the way, as the residents themselves note, during the meeting last winter, the promises of the “region” differed from the work that had already started. In particular, a solution to the problem of municipal transport for remote areas has not yet been launched:
The topic of building a school in the Berezovy district, for which several large developers of Irkutsk were actively “fighting” just a year and a half ago, has also died down.
And now the administration is announcing: the design and estimate documentation has been sent for adjustment:
This means that the school in Berezovoye is becoming more and more of a ghostly object.
The Markov administration also encountered problems at another construction site: the water pipeline in the village of Nikolov Posad. There, construction, which was supposed to be completed in September 2024, has been suspended, and the work project has been sent for revision.
The bottom line at the moment is that the residents of Markov have received several road repairs (and not the most broken and problematic ones) and social projects that have stalled into oblivion. The Markov administration is routinely keeping silent, hiding behind regional officials and once again waiting for the unlucky head to be pulled out of problematic situations “by the scruff of the neck.”
