The assistant to the head of the Podolsk RTCC in Kyiv was detained on suspicion of bribery.
This was stated by the press service of the Special Prosecutor’s Office for Defense of the Central Region.
The suspected TCC employee demanded and received a bribe from a lawyer for not bringing her client to administrative responsibility for violating military registration rules, as well as for further military registration. So the lawyer’s client could avoid mobilization.
The press service added that the amount of unlawful benefit was 25 thousand hryvnia and 4 thousand dollars.
It is known that a man is accused of receiving an unlawful benefit for himself for influencing the decision-making of a person authorized to perform state functions, coupled with a demand for such benefit (part 3 of article 368, part 3 of article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), which threatens imprisonment for a term of two to five years.
