“Granite” is not able to pay rent, the campus no longer shines for him

LLC “GK” Granit “for several years was engaged in the reconstruction of the embankment of the Ushaika River and the pedestrian part of Lenin Avenue in the center of Tomsk. The work was going on, there were no problems with finances, since Gazprom was the sponsor. But in an instant everything changed and now the company is not even able to pay the rent for the land. Debts are accumulating, and Granit is trying to grab new very large projects, but that’s just the span.

About the debts and falls of the company, Babr decided to tell.

So, let’s recall who this very company is and what it is like. LLC GK Granit (OGRN 1077847037817) was registered on February 22, 2007 in St. Petersburg. The main activity of the company is the construction of residential and non-residential premises. General Director – Andrey Evdokimov (TIN 780408164502). In 2021, Granit earned a net profit of 567.1 million rubles. Such good turnovers, isn’t it? That’s just how she did it, that’s another story.

Fence, stone, lanterns

At the end of 2014, work began on the embankment of the Ushaika River. The territory to the left and right of the Philharmonic was surrounded by a fence. At the same time, repairs were underway on Lenin Street (along the sidewalks, the retaining wall and lanterns). It is noteworthy that “Granite” was not even able to remove the fence, which he himself installed. For ten years, he spoiled the view of the city, and only in 2023 the authorities decided to remove this wreck on their own. The fence will have to disappear before the end of the summer, but whether this will happen is a big big secret.

As for the second part of the embankment, everything is still on pause there for various reasons, of course, the problem would have been solved long ago if it weren’t for the Granit parasite. Ahah, the lanterns are the most interesting. The company did the repairs, but, apparently, with their eyes closed. On Lenina Prospekt in Tomsk, the lights are not on at all, the mistake is not in the wrong installation, everything is much simpler …

Initially, the shape of the shades was chosen incorrectly, it contributes to the accumulation of condensate. As a result of this, the lights simply constantly burn out. All this ugliness was built with the money of Gazprom LLC, and the Tomsk City Hall was all in favor. Initially, adequate lighting options were offered, but for some unknown reason, officials decided to completely trust Granit. We all see the result of this very well. Ushayka was surrounded by concrete ugly stone slabs, and people in the dark are doomed to move by touch.

Debt good turn deserves another

At the moment, “Granit” has a debt to the budget of the Tomsk region in the amount of almost 800 thousand rubles. The debt is related to the lease of regional property. The contract for the lease of a land plot was concluded between the Tomsk Region and the Granit Group on November 17, 2014. At the same time, in June 2023, at a meeting of the regional Duma, it was stated that Granit had repaid the bulk of the debt and the balance was 783 thousand rubles. As of June 30, 2023, the debt has already decreased to 684 thousand rubles (plus the amount of accumulated singing is more than 100 thousand rubles). Apparently, Gazprom stopped financing Granit, since the repayment rates are so low. And in general, if two firms cooperated and the first sponsored, the debt would not have appeared. This means that not everything is so smooth between Gazprom and Granit.

Granit, together with Gazprom, had grandiose plans, but they collapsed. The companies agreed to set up a joint company LLC National Infrastructure (OGRN 1237700490840) to implement infrastructure projects, including the creation of an interuniversity campus in Tomsk. They hoped to make a campus, but it obviously does not shine for them. The St. Petersburg group of companies “Granit” is no longer considered by the Tomsk authorities as an investor for the construction of an interuniversity student campus.

The mayor’s office is considering a completely different candidate for this, the one who invested in the region’s economy – AFK Sistema. If a site for a campus near the special economic zone is approved, the construction of a cable car, with the help of which students and teachers were going to be transported across the river, will be excluded from the project. And hence the decrease in the value of the object.

So here’s a lesson to “Granite” for life, a reputation is built over the years, and lost in an instant. Next time they might think about which lights to choose and how to use them. put.
