Goods that have risen in price in Russia in 2022 more than others have become known

2022 turned out to be difficult in every sense, which no doubt reflected on prices in Russian stores and supermarkets.

Today, January 21, the iReactor publication, citing RBC, presented a list of goods whose cost jumped above the rest.

The first place was taken by iodine, which added 55.2% in price compared to 2021. Then there are matches, which have risen in price by 50.6%, and toilet soap closed the top three of the anti-rating – plus 44.2% to the cost. The fourth place is occupied by women’s gaskets (+43.5%), the fifth – by new passenger cars, which increased in price by 39.1% on average. Also in the top ten were deodorant, margarine, laundry soap, shampoo and toothpaste. In 2022, Russia had to pay 30% more for detergents and cleaning products, 15% more for electrical appliances and other household goods, 15% more for milk and dairy products.

Incredibly increased in the price of travel: holidays in Egypt jumped by 159.7%, in Turkey – 118.6%, the UAE – 73.6%. It is noted that among the services, the cost of photocopying documents has also seriously increased – 48.1%.

It is noted that in total, the annual inflation in the Russian Federation at the end of 2022 reached 11.9%, which was lower than the forecasts of the financial regulator and the government.
