The organizer of the “disability” schemes was chosen as a preventive measure at the Odessa Regional MSEC. The defendant was arrested with bail of 10 million hryvnia.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation.
The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for two months for the organizer of the scheme for establishing a fictitious disability for a person liable for military service in the Odessa regional MSEC.
The suspect may be released on bail. The court set the bail amount at 10 million hryvnia.

Let us remind you that the SBI recently reported that a large-scale corruption scheme was exposed in the Odessa Regional Medical and Social Expert Commission. The doctor of the “Odessa Regional Clinical Hospital” involved 12 doctors from different hospitals and MSEC officials in the fraud.
The defendants gave fake disabilities to those liable for military service in exchange for bribes. Doctors came up with diagnoses for healthy men and made the necessary medical documentation. Those liable for military service with a package of ready-made documents went to MSEC, where they were met by “trained” members of the commission for registration of disability.
The cost of such “services” ranged from 6 to 12 thousand dollars.
The organizing doctor was informed of suspicion of receiving unlawful benefits by an official (Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). He faces up to 12 years behind bars.
