Former special forces soldier of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs was imprisoned for shooting at colleagues
The Akshinsky District Court of the Trans-Baikal Territory sentenced to 9.5 years in prison a 30-year-old former soldier of the Grom special forces of the drug control department of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia (*aggressor country), who decided to show off his skills shooting and took the life of his partner.

The verdict was based on the jury’s guilty verdict. The court found that on September 18, 2022, the special forces were on a business trip in the Akshinsky district, escorting operatives at an event to identify crimes in the field of drug trafficking.
While driving in a UAZ Patriot official car on the Byrka-Aksha highway, the defendant began shooting from Yarygin’s service pistol in the direction of the car with his colleagues driving in front. One of the 15 bullets hit his special forces partner in the back of the head.
The person involved in the case initially stated that the security forces were attacked by unknown persons, but during the investigation his version was not confirmed. The special forces soldier was dismissed from the internal affairs bodies and arrested.
According to the court verdict, he must pay his colleague’s wife compensation for moral damage in the amount of 3 million rubles.
