According to experts, about a dozen new companies enter the market every year in the entertainment industry, so all players must modernize their networks in order to maintain their competitiveness in the market.
They believe that Kosmik needs a revamp of its outdated concept and additional investment. This will allow the company to adapt to the new reality. Vitaly Harutyunyan, co-founder and director of the chain of children’s amusement parks “Chayland” says:
– Everyone was whispering long before the pandemic that they not only didn’t improve, they didn’t change anything, they didn’t bring anything to their parks. In this format, which we are talking about, anyway, something should change at least once every five years, or it should change constantly, not just dramatically, but should change by 30-40%. Everyone refers to bowling, bowling is just one part, and there they had rides, game things. Imagine conditionally: you have a twenty-year-old phone, how interesting will it be for you? Approximately the same all these entertainments connected with electronics. What was 20 years ago is now categorically irrelevant for children who already use a smartphone at the age of three or four, bowling is designed more for adults.
— What can be done to restore the reputation, or is it already a missed moment?
— If there are good locations, you can find co-investors and change something. The name has already been promoted, if you look at it all seriously, then a terrible end is better than endless horror, that is, it’s easy to take it and reset it to zero. Or the second option: to find buyers for the owners, to sell for some amount, including the name, brand, and so on, how much it will cost, the market will show, but there is, of course, an opportunity.
