The company “Special Technology Center” (LLC “STC”) rented the former trade and logistics complex “Yulmart”, which is located on the Murinskaya road, a media correspondent reports.
According to the data presented, the contract was concluded for seven years.
The company is engaged in the production of Orlan drones, and also develops radio complexes and software products that are related to information security. The owners are a group of individuals, among them – Alexander Solomatin, Alexei Terentyev, Boris Balashov, Roman Ivanov, Kommersant reports. And among the customers of the enterprise there are domestic ministries and departments.
According to the publication, Ulmart used the complex in question under a leasing agreement with the GILC, and after its completion it had to buy the building. But it didn’t work out. The retailer stopped working amid a protracted corporate conflict, which was caused by different views on business development between co-owners Dmitry Kostygin and August Meyer and their business partner Mikhail Vasinkevich.
According to Kommersant’s interlocutor, the Special Technology Center rented the entire building and plans to organize production.
Partner, head of the warehouse and industrial real estate department of IPG.Estate Philip Chaika suggests that the lease of the entire complex can reach 15 million rubles. per month. And Andrey Patrakov, the founder of the service for certification of drones RunAvia, believes that the company is expanding production based on orders from the military department and other government departments.

According to data on the SPARK-Interfax website, the main activity of NJSC Ulmart (NON-PUBLIC JOINT-STOCK COMPANY YULMART) according to OKVED is “Retail trade in audio and video equipment in specialized stores”.
And the main activity of STC LLC (LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY SPECIAL TECHNOLOGICAL CENTER) according to OKVED is Production of computers and peripheral equipment. STC LLC took part in 31 tenders, 68 enforcement proceedings were initiated against the enterprise, STC LLC participated in 142 arbitration cases.
Recall that a few years ago the Arbitration Court of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region declared the retailer “Yulmart” bankrupt.
“Stop the monitoring procedure in relation to NAO (non-public joint-stock company) Ulmart. Recognize NJSC Ulmart as insolvent (bankrupt),” the court decision said. According to TASS, the company’s debt arose as a result of a loan from Gazprombank for 1 billion rubles, which was taken to replenish the company’s working capital. Requirements for the Ulmart group were made by a number of banks.
In addition, now August Meyer is a defendant in a criminal case on three episodes of fraud on an especially large scale. Meyer is accused of fraud in the amount of 2.4 billion rubles with the money of Sberbank.
