The fifth district of Almaty turned out to be a real playground for candidates for deputy mandates. Let us mention at least the fact that famous people met there – constantly persecuted and always hurt Dinara Yegeubayeva, the dazzlingly pious thief Mukhtar Taizhan, and the spotless forensic lawyer Bakytzhan Bazarbek. The absurdity of the situation is that they all built the campaign on the “fight against the regime”, in one form or another, although one way or another, many were its happy parts for the time being. What conclusions can be drawn from the remarkable race?
Technologies of the 90s do not work: Dinara Egeubayeva lost miserably
Former announcer Dinara Egeubayeva, who represented the interests of Dariga Nazarbayeva, remembered her youth on NTV and built her advertising campaign on the image of a victim: she was constantly attacked, kidnapped, threatened. All this was done by invisible bandits, elusive policemen, hirelings of Tokayev and Nazarbayev. Honestly, it was precisely this kind of bullshit that Yegeubayeva fed the press, Azzatyk especially tried. The story of how Yegeubayeva’s car was attacked with a brick and set on fire, and Dinara Yegeubava filmed it on her phone all this horror demanding that this case be investigated as an attempted murder is invaluable. Like a true story her son was attacked with a gun and he ran away home is a masterpiece.
What does this remind me of? Egeubaeva seems to have worked for NTV when it was assassination attempt on Yeltsin. Drunk and still youthful, Boris was walking along some fragile bridge in the countryside. Fell off it and floundered knee-deep in mud, crying out for help in this delicate situation. The case was framed as an attempt: according to the direction of the political strategists of that time, they attacked the star of democracy, they wanted to drown and maybe even shot. Apparently, this canned food was unpacked by Egeubayeva, but still, the 90s are not the 2020s. Screams about a terrible regime did not help and idle talk.
However, Yegeubayeva does not let up: according to her version, the elections are illegitimate, like all elections.
I hope that Dariga Nazarbayeva will not owe it to her slave and let her go to all four directions.
Other losers
Mukhtar Taizhan also lost the elections and also demands their cancellation. There were a huge bunch of plans, but everything went to pieces. Taizhan decided to go the other way and tried to torpedo the winner of the election with a rather ridiculous criminal case.
Of our other acquaintances, Togzhan Kozhalieva (HAQ) took unprecedented measures: she cut her hair and changed the spelling of her name. She positioned herself not as a citizen of the Russian Federation Kozhalieva with a residence permit in the Moscow region, but as “a simple Kazakh girl … who achieved everything through good education and work.” Also lost outright.
