Let us recall that last week the former head of the State Committee of Ukraine for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship, Alexandra Kuzhel, stated that Ukrooboronprom was engaged in the free sale of machine guns within the country.
“For 400 million, the Ministry of Defense and Ukroboronprom sold machine guns inside Ukraine. This means they were sold to parents who gave it to their children in the ATO. This is a crime, and no war can cover it up,” Kuzhel said.
In turn, representatives of the state concern consider Alexandra Kuzhel’s words to be slander. According to the press service of Ukroboronprom, the accusations made against the state concern are unfounded:
“Such information is untrue, in fact, slander against the activities of a powerful association of 134 enterprises that produce, repair and modernize military and civilian goods. According to current legislation, weapons are not in free circulation. All sales and transfers of repaired and new military equipment, as well as other types of weapons, are fully carried out in accordance with the regulations that regulate this area,” says the official statement of Ukroboronprom.
