The Penza court sent the Honored Artist of Russia Ramilya Iskander into custody on charges of attempted drug trafficking. She will remain in custody until October 21. Despite the fact that the decision was made on August 31, information about the arrest appeared only now.
A couple of days before this – on August 29 – employees of the Penza Drug Control Department visited the actress’s home in Moscow. Presumably, it was handed over by a dealer who had been detained earlier. According to the SHOT telegram channel, the artist and her accomplices were in development by operatives for about six months.
How events developed with the arrest of Iskander
In a private house in the village of Marushkinskoye (Moscow Nenets Autonomous District), investigators found two kilograms of mephedrone and a dose of cocaine. The drugs were located in the building itself and were also hidden inside the Subaru car.
Now Iskander faces 20 years in prison under the most severe part of Article 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Illegal production, sale or transfer of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues”), since the volume of prohibited substances found can be classified as particularly large.
It is reported that 46-year-old Ramilya Khisamova (this is her real name) has already made a deal with the investigation. During interrogation, she handed over one of her accomplices – 32-year-old unemployed Maxim Rudakov, who was detained a few days later in the city of Kuznetsk, Penza region. Then in his Kia Rio he was carrying 53 packages of mephedrone weighing ten kilograms. After the drug dealer was detained, the case against Iskander was separated into separate proceedings.
The actress’s family refuses to make any comments. It is known that Khisamova is a single mother. She has a ten-year-old son left at large, whose guardianship will most likely be taken by her older brother Rustam.
