Maxim Stolypin was advertised in social networks as a successful trader. The man promised to “raise” clients’ money up to 40% by buying cryptocurrency with their funds and selling it at a much higher price.
According to clients, it worked: people sent hundreds of thousands of rubles to Maxim, and he sent them the difference after selling the crypt. All this was accompanied by videos about the luxurious life of a trader – an office in the Empire Tower, housing in Neva Towers, shopping at the Central Department Store, expensive cars.
A few months later, Stolypin began to delay payments, and then disappeared altogether – he cleaned up the correspondence, deleted his personal telegram channel and the channel with reviews.
Clients sounded the alarm and conducted their own investigation. According to them, the guy’s real name is Artyom Murashev, he is 24 years old. There were also members of the trader’s team, about whom he regularly told clients. “Specialists” assure that they are only actors, to whom the man paid 6-7 thousand for filming.
One of the victims went to the City to personally deal with the fraudster, but the girl was not allowed to the apartment. Now people across the country and abroad are massively writing statements to the police and the prosecutor’s office – we are talking about multimillion-dollar losses.
