Croatia allowed to steal and hide the yacht associated with Usmanov and Viner

The 35-meter yacht Irina VU, arrested due to sanctions, “disappeared” from the port of Betina in Croatia. The ship left the port back in October and is probably in Didim, Turkey, but publicly about its “disappearance” they started talking only now. The $5.5 million yacht was able to freely leave the country because the port authorities allegedly had no information about the frozen assets of the Russians.

The yacht is associated with Alisher Usmanov and his ex-wife Irina Viner – Viner owned it through the Cyprus offshore in 2016-2017. Usmanov’s representative claims that the oligarch does not own the yacht and is not connected with its disappearance.
