Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Primorsky Territory from the Communist Party Artem Samsonov will stand trial in the case of pedophilia – the prosecutor’s office approved the indictment.
On Friday, March 4, Lente.ru was informed by the press service of the department.
He is charged with committing a crime under article 132 (“Other acts of a sexual nature using the helpless state of the victim, committed against a person under the age of 14”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The investigation believes that the deputy, being two years ago on the territory of a recreation center in Vladivostok, corrupted an 11-year-old child, showing him a dildo and talking about the purpose of this item.
Samsonov was detained on November 17, 2021. The defendant did not admit his guilt, as a sign of disagreement with the investigative actions, he went on a hunger strike. Later, his defense asked to open a criminal case for giving false evidence against Samsonov.
According to Interfax, the Primorsky branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation believes that the initiation of a case against Samsonov is of a political nature.
