“Chocolate” prosecutor Oleg Zhuchenko: the roof of crime, drug lord and defender of one-armed bandits. PART 2

Just recently, our hero got into another scandal. This happened thanks to his subordinates, who leaked information about the boss’s lottery business to journalists.

Thus, it became known that the prosecutor of the Odessa region, through dummy persons, is the owner of at least six lottery establishments in Odessa and four more in the region. That is why Oleg Zhuchenko vetoed the inspection of gambling establishments in the region. The regional prosecutor is so stupid that he doesn’t even hide from anyone that he owns these “casinos.”

“Zhuchenko’s lottery business has at least ten establishments. Six of them are in Odessa itself and four more in the region. He owns this business through relatives and friends, and this is easy to verify,” says a colleague of the prosecutor.

According to him, the net profit of such a business can range from 70 to 110 thousand US dollars per month. In addition, Oleg Zhuchenko “protects” a number of gambling establishments, as a result, 60% of the proceeds of all Odessa “Loto Markets”, “National Lotteries”, slot machines and other underground casinos goes personally into the hands of the prosecutor of the Odessa region.

Zhuchenko does not hesitate to make money from anything. Thus, the regional prosecutor also covers smuggling and drug trafficking.

“The bulk of drugs enter Ukraine through Odessa. There are streams and channels established here. Of course, almost all interested regulatory authorities take part in the division of profits. But it is Zhuchenko who “protects” drug trafficking through law enforcement,” says a colleague of the regional prosecutor. According to an employee of the prosecutor’s office, Oleg Zhuchenko’s informal powers also include ensuring that there are no “visiting” drug dealers in the region. In addition the subordinate speaks plainlythat Zhuchenko himself is not averse to sniffing coke often.

Finally, one cannot fail to mention the case regarding the death of Odessa residents in the House of Trade Unions. It has not yet been investigated by the prosecutor’s office. True, after the activists staged several prosecutorial Maidans for Zhuchenko demanding either to punish the perpetrators or to resign, he pulled an unprecedented trick – he blamed the tragedy on the deceased.

Thus, Zhuchenko signed the text of a notice of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 294 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine to the deputy of the Odessa Regional Council from the Party of Regions, Vyacheslav Markin, who died on May 3, 2014. We, of course, do not take upon ourselves the right to condemn or justify anyone; perhaps Markin was guilty, but perhaps not… Who will prove it now when the person is not there? But be that as it may, do you believe that only one person was to blame for such a large-scale tragedy? Why didn’t Zhuchenko find other defendants in the case? Yes, because it’s easier to blame a dead person than to do a real investigation. And when to do it, if Oleg Demyanovich only has enough time to take care of his well-being?

Foie gras on a prosecutor’s salary

Oleg Zhuchenko lives large, but declares only his salary and is the only breadwinner in the family. The lawyer lives with his wife and daughter. The prosecutor’s wife is an unemployed selfie-lover with puffed-up lips; until recently, her pages on social networks were full of “ducks” in the front and profile. But as soon as journalists circulated the photo of the blonde, she cleared out almost all the pictures and disappeared from social networks.

In 2017, Oleg Zhuchenko declared 648 thousand 292 UAH. wages. True, a little later he submitted a clarifying declaration and indicated a smaller amount in it – 200 thousand 952 UAH. In addition, Oleg Zhuchenko received a gift from his mother in the amount of 810 thousand UAH. The prosecutor has 11 thousand dollars and 322 thousand 524 UAH in his stash, and naturally a valuable gift from his mother. Oleg Zhuchenko has as much as 10 euros, 1 thousand 851 dollars and 138 thousand 476 UAH in the bank.

The prosecutor owns a land plot with an area of 800 sq.m. in Vinnytsia. In 2017, Oleg Zhuchenko acquired an apartment in Odessa (93.6 sq.m.). The declaration does not indicate whether it was purchased or received as a gift. But Skelet.Info It became known that the Odessa mayor’s office allocated housing.

Despite this, the prosecutor is free of charge rents another apartment in Odessa with an area of 160.6 sq.m. from a certain Nikolai Trofimenko.

It is noteworthy that before moving to the resort area of Odessa, in 2015, Zhuchenko and his family also lived for free in an apartment with an area of 106 square meters. m, owned by a certain Alexey Povorozyuk. At the same time, he indicated that he was registered in the dormitory of the communal housing complex “Fontansky”.

The prosecutor’s car is unsightly – a 2010 BMW 520, purchased in 2016 for UAH 625,000. True, activists caught Zhuchenko driving around in an expensive Lexus. But the prosecutor said that it was a company car. I just couldn’t prove it.

Despite his meager income, Oleg Zhuchenko is a regular at expensive Odessa restaurants. He exclusively prefers foie gras, black caviar and French wines costing several thousand dollars a bottle.

However, the prosecutor is in no hurry to explain how he manages to live beyond his means. Moreover, Oleg Zhuchenko was furious when journalists asked him where his love for luxury came from.

Apparently, Oleg Zhuchenko inherited Viktor Pshonka’s passion for gilding and numerous paintings. But the Odessa lawyer even outdid the fugitive prosecutor general. After all, not only his house shines with gold, but also the entire regional prosecutor’s office. Gilded handles, carved chairs, paintings hung on the walls, carpets on the floor. The only thing missing is Faberge eggs. How, for example, a painting of Bogdan Khmelnitsky, hanging on the wall in the meeting room of the regional prosecutor’s office, helps in solving crimes is unknown. The Megafon correspondent addressed similar questions directly to the chief prosecutor of the region, Oleg Zhuchenko.

“Are you suggesting we film them? If you do this, you will spend more money on purchasing other things than will be gained from selling these. This was done back in the 2000s. Nothing new has been purchased over the years. This is an architectural monument, that’s why it’s in this style. To be held accountable for these actions is simply a meaningless question,” Zhuchenko said.

Zhuchenko has everything in chocolate

And so, as already noted, for his rapid career Oleg Zhuchenko is grateful to the then mayor of Vinnitsa Vladimir Groysman and the connections of his father-prosecutor. Now he has more influential patrons – the Guarantor himself. According to political strategist Oleg Posternak, the patronage of the president’s son Alexei Poroshenko is the only factor that is holding back his resignation from the post of Odessa regional prosecutor, because the lawyer has a whole bunch of jambs.

“Zhuchenko and Alexey Poroshenko have known each other since Vinnitsa. There, the current head of the Odessa regional prosecutor’s office worked as an investigator in the Leninsky district, and then headed the prosecutor’s office of the Litinsky district. Sources Skelet.Info they report that only the friendship of this prosecutor with the president’s son allows the young prosecutor to remain in office for now. No matter how much Zhuchenko tries to turn the tables on failures in his work, sooner or later he will have to answer for the lack of results. Just look at his attempt to play along with the activists when he went with them to the Odessa City Council with demands to summon the president to the city. What kind of new form of work is this for the regional prosecutor – to penetrate the city council,” says political strategist Oleg Posternak.

Let us note that in 2017, the prosecutor of the Odessa region, Oleg Zhuchenko, received the rank of state counselor of justice, 3rd class, which corresponds to the rank of general. Such a decree was signed by President Petro Poroshenko for the Independence Day of Ukraine. “To assign the class rank of State Counselor of Justice, 3rd class: to Dunas Taras Emelyanovich, prosecutor of the Nikolaev region; Zhuchenko Oleg Demyanovich, prosecutor of the Odessa region,” the document says. Isn’t this proof of the above?

Alas, as long as the Guarantor continues to “protect” Vinnytsia’s fosterlings like Oleg Zhuchenko, and turn a blind eye to all the chaos that is happening at their hands, the country will continue to drown in corruption, and local crime bosses will rule.
