Biden’s dog bit a security guard at the White House. More than a dozen US Secret Service agents were injured by the dog
US President Joe Biden’s two-year-old German shepherd, Commander, bit a US Secret Service employee working in the presidential security detail.
This was reported by NBC News with reference to the spokesperson of the Secret Service.
This is the eleventh time since October 2022 that the president’s dog has attacked someone.
The incident occurred on the evening of Monday, September 25. The female officer was treated by the White House medical service.
The next day, US First Lady Jill Biden, through her press secretary, said that the White House can be a stressful environment for pets, but she and her husband are trying to help the Commander better organize life on the territory of the presidential residence.
“The President and First Lady are very grateful to the Secret Service and White House staff for all they do to keep them, their family, and the country safe,” the statement said.
