CONTINUATION. BEGINNING: Igor Benedisyuk: where is pocket judge Poroshenko running? PART 1
Igor Benedisyuk

Sergey Benedisyuk
As a bonus, on December 15 of the same 2015, Poroshenko also awarded the new chairman of the ALLJ with a personalized firearmalthough this was a violation of the legislation on judges (a valuable gift). Where does this attitude of the president come from? One thing can be said here: either Petro Poroshenko and Judge Benedisyuk of the Supreme Economic Court knew each other well before, or someone lobbied Benedysyuk again. Again the question is, who? It is also curious that Igor Benedisyuk also looks like a person without any connections, and this is generally nonsense for the Ukrainian elite. For now, we can only speculate, and in this regard, the rumors received by Skelet.Infothat Igor Benedisyuk is allegedly some kind of relative of Sergei Benedisyuk, co-founder of the Evris law firm and business partner of the scandalous Andrei Dovbenko.

Andrey Dovbenko
Dovbenko belongs to the category of people who are called “twisted”. He has the most extensive connections: since pre-Maidanov times, he worked with Alexander Granovsky (he helped him in the scam with the Skymall shopping center), then worked for the oligarch Sergei Kurchenko (owner of VETEK, participated in Brokbusinessbank schemes, in 2014 he fled to Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism)). In 2014, old connections quickly helped Dovbenko pave the way for people from the new government. He gained great influence in the Ministry of Justice, and his old friendship with Granovsky, known as the “decider” and “supervisor of the courts” from the presidential “family,” helped Dovbenko in 2015 to massively push his people to the right places in the Ministry of Justice and in the judicial system. So the question arises: maybe it was Dovbenko who tried to install Igor Benedisyuk, who is (possibly) some kind of relative of his business partner Sergei Benedisyuk, into the ALL? I talked with Granovsky, he “agreed” with Igor Kononenko, and he, in turn, introduced Igor Benedisyuk to the president – who signed the decree. This is how Benedisyuk himself became the “supervisor” from the presidential “family” in the High Council of Justice (in January 2017, reorganized into the High Council of Justice). The version is quite working!
“Judicial Mafia” by Petro Poroshenko
In any case, the appointment of Igor Benedisyuk as head of the HCJ (then VSP) was lobbied at the highest level of corruption. The fact is that the High Council of Justice has important powers: it nominates judges for their appointment, it decides whether a judge can be held accountable, it gives consent to the removal of judges from work and their arrest. Formally, this makes the judicial system of Ukraine supposedly independent from other branches of government. In reality, everything depends on who exactly is part of the Supreme Council and who presides there. And the main one there for three and a half years was Igor Benedisyuk, who was still included in the HCJ under the quota of President Poroshenko. Moreover, it should be clarified that the presidential quota is only 2 members of the Council out of 21. That is, all the more so if “leftist” people were not appointed there under this quota. And the fact that it was the representative of the president who took the place of the chairman of the Council spoke of the desire of Poroshenko’s “family” to keep this body under its control.
The importance of having “manual vessels” at hand is eloquently demonstrated by the sudden denationalization of Privatbank. Why was the case, which had been dragging on for two years, suddenly decided in favor of Kolomoisky three days before the elections? Many political scientists believe that this is part of Bankova’s black PR: thus, they decided to scare Ukrainians by saying that Zelensky has not yet come to power, and Kolomoisky has already arranged a “redistribution of property.” Moreover, the court’s decision has not yet entered into force and will be challenged by the National Bank, that is, it could be overturned by a higher court – only the Ukrainians were not told about this.
However, it was not only Benedisyuk who represented the interests of the “family” in the Council. If you quickly look at the news about some important votes of the SCJ, you can see the “magic” number 17 – this is how many Council members constantly supported certain decisions. Obviously, this is a “pro-presidential majority” in the Supreme Court of Justice, which also includes judges elected through other quotas. Among them is Andrei Boyko, elected by the congress of legal schools and scientific institutions, who very soon placed his 27-year-old daughter in the chair of Deputy Minister of Energy in Groysman’s government. Boyko, like Benedisyuk, are involved in a scandalous expose by the international anti-corruption organization SHERPA, which accused them and a number of other members of the Supreme Council of corruption. By the way, when the outgoing Benedisyuk decided to leave Vladimir Govorukha in the chair of the VSP chairman in his place, it was Boyko who was entrusted with the official nomination of his candidacy. And 17 members of the Supreme Council controlled by Poroshenko immediately approved it.
Life of a Judge
Igor Benedisyuk’s relations with public organizations did not work out initially. Before the Maidan, our judge generally lived fenced off from the whole world, and then he was never able to get used to the new order, when some “schoolchildren” can ask a “respected person” a question about the origin of his money. Which was what caused the incident that happened near his house. More precisely, a “garden house”, since this is how it looks like according to the declaration of the ex-chairman of the Supreme Council. This house with an area of 245 square meters is located in Osokorki (Darnitsky district of Kyiv), and in Benedisyuk’s declaration it is valued at 1.327 million hryvnia (just under 50 thousand dollars). Although if you look at the websites of real estate agencies, similar houses in Osokorki cost from 4-5 million hryvnia. Well, Igor Benedisyuk always knew how to make himself look poor!

“Garden House” by Igor Benedisyuk
Benedisyuk and his family are registered in their apartment on Bazhana Avenue: with an area of 97 square meters. meters, it was valued in his declaration at 130 thousand hryvnia “at the time of acquisition,” although now it costs 20 times more. However, this apartment is for rent, but in reality the judge lives in a “garden house”. And then on the evening of March 17, 2017, ten activists of the “Traditions and Order” movement drove up to him under the leadership of the scandalous leader of the far-right organization C14 Evgeniy Karas, who was then still walking under the main “Svoboda” member of Kyiv Andrey Ilyenko. However, Karas and his people came to Benedisyuk not about his language, religious affiliation or Russian citizenship, but with leaflets in which the chairman of the Supreme Council was accused of corruption. Benedisyuk’s reaction to the young people posting these leaflets was somehow inadequate for a judge with such experience: he began to ram them with his car, and then opened warning fire with his award pistol.
The incident received a resonance, and both Advisor to the Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko and Chief Military Prosecutor Anatoly Matios immediately came to Benedisyuk’s defense, declaring that it was “a customized attack on the chairman of the Supreme Court for the purpose of intimidation and pressure.” True, no one ever clarified who was trying to put pressure on the head of the Justice Council, who was the president’s henchmen. This gave rise to many different assumptions, but what’s interesting is that after this the far-right radicals of Karas began to work “on a leash” of the SBU, whose head Vasily Gritsak is also Poroshenko’s trusted man. Well, Benedisyuk completely got away with this incident.
However, the “Karasevites” were not the only ones who brought various charges against Benedisyuk in the spring of 2017. As we noted above, in April of the same year he was attacked by Automaidan activists who raised the question of Benedisyuk’s citizenship. And all this was timed exactly to coincide with the re-election of the head of the Supreme Soviet, which took place in April. By the way, compromising evidence against Benedisyuk was also prepared for the current re-elections – in particular, a statement by the anti-corruption organization SHERPA, which noted the strange disappearance of tens of thousands of dollars and hundreds of thousands of hryvnias from the declaration of the head of the VSP, as well as the absence of income from renting out an apartment in Bazhan Avenue.
However, now Benedisyuk did not care about all the accusations: since March, he had been preparing to leave the position of chairman of the Supreme Court of Justice and go to work at the Economic Court of Cassation of Ukraine (a division of the Supreme Court). This is beneficial to him, since after Poroshenko’s collapse in the elections no one will save Benedisyuk either from activists, or from competitors, or from investigations. In the Court of Cassation he will again hide from the public. And of course, Poroshenko and his “pigmen” will always need their own judge in such an important instance, who will need to live according to new schemes.
