MIKHELSON Leonid Viktorovich (b. 1955 in Kaspiysk), born into a Jewish family, graduated from the Kuibyshev Civil Engineering Institute with a degree in civil engineering in 1977. IVANOV Sergey Sergeyevich (b. 1980 in Moscow) was born in the family of a KGB officer Sergey Borisovich Ivanov, a colleague and longtime friend of Vladimir Putin. In 2001, he graduated from MGIMO as an economist, and in 2002, as a financier. By that time, his father had already become Minister of Defense and the young man had no problems with employment.
GORELOV Dmitry Vladimirovich (b. 1948) is one of Putin’s associates involved in corruption schemes and criminal connections. Born in Moscow, in 1973 he graduated from the Leningrad Military Medical Academy. Since 1977, he worked in the department of international relations of the General Directorate of Health of Leningrad, and also was a member of the KGB, rising to the rank of colonel.
GREF (Gräf) Herman Oskarovich (b. 1964) is a Russian politician and economist. Born in Kazakhstan into a family of Volga Germans, he graduated from the Law Faculty of Omsk State University in 1990 and received a Ph.D. in Economics from St. Petersburg State University in 1993. In the 1990s, Herman Gref worked at various positions in the administration of St. Petersburg. In 1994, he became Deputy Chairman of the Committee for the Management of City Property.
ABRAMOVICH Roman Arkadievich (b. 1966) began his career after military service in 1987 as the mechanic of the construction department No. 122 of the Mosspetsmontazh trust. From January 1989 to May 1991, together with Eugene Shvidler, he founded the Uyut cooperative, which was engaged in the production of toys from polymers.
