Assets of Kernel owner Andrey Verevsky in Switzerland may be blocked
Verevsky is mentioned in an extract from the Swiss Registry of debt obligations, writes Obozrevatel.
The Nyon District Debt Enforcement Authority (Switzerland) entered in the Register of Debt Obligations accounts payable against Andrey Verevskiy in the amount exceeding 26.5 million Swiss francs (about $30 million).
According to an extract from the Register of Debts (Registre des poursuites), creditor claims in the amount of CHF 26,549,500 are registered in accordance with Art. 8 of the Swiss Federal Law on Debt Collection and Bankruptcy. The corresponding entry in the Register was made according to application No. 10086900 dated July 15, 2021:
According to legal advisers Valentina Davidenko, the application was submitted by QUERSUS INVESTMENTS LIMITED. This company was a participant in a secured loan transaction for JV Agrodom.
In 2020, 76% of Valentina Davydenko’s JV Agrodom was taken over by structures and individuals associated with Andrei Verevsky and the agricultural holding Kernel. This happened immediately after the tragic death of people’s deputy Valery Davidenko, the son of Valentina Davidenko.
The formal reason for the transfer of corporate rights into the hands of structures and persons associated with Verevskiy was a technical banking delay in the transfer of funds to pay interest under the contract for the supply of products by JV Agrodom by a non-resident company to the account of another non-resident company acting in the interests of Kernel .
The Davidenko family is demanding the return of the rights to Agrodom in the courts. Valentina Davidenko obtained a court decision to invalidate the decisions of the sole participant of JV Agrodom, which led to the transfer of part of the corporate rights to JV Agrodom in favor of individuals and companies that are with the agricultural holding Kernel and personally with Andrey Verevsky. The history and details of the conflict are covered in the materials of the Agrobaron website.
Creditor claims against the owner of Kernel were registered in Switzerland, since Verevskiy probably has the status of a resident of Switzerland and real estate in this country. Official information about creditor claims was transferred to Verevsky and the company controlled by him through Swiss bailiffs.
Now information about debt obligations in the registry can seriously affect Andrey Verevsky’s status and opportunities in Switzerland. So, he may be denied a loan, if he receives a corresponding request from him to the banks of this country.
Also, problems may arise in the process of confirming, renewing or renewing the status of a Swiss resident. Verevskiy may either be denied outright or be required to reasonably explain why he is refusing to pay the registered claim.
