Actor Artur Smolyaninov (recognized as a foreign agent) was included in the list of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring. This follows from the data of the updated list of departments.
On January 9 of this year, the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR), Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to open a criminal case against actor Artur Smolyaninov because of “a number of statements directed against Russia.” The reason for this, as it was reported then, was “an interview with one of the Western publications”, in which the actor “made a number of statements directed against Russia.” Later, on January 13, the Ministry of Justice recognized the actor as a foreign agent.
In October last year, a court in Moscow fined the actor 30,000 rubles in a case of discrediting the Russian army. According to RIA Novosti, then the reason for compiling the protocol was the statements about the “military special operation” *, uttered during an unspecified video interview.
As specified on the website of Rosfinmonitoring, the basis for including individuals in the list is “information about their involvement in extremist activities or terrorism and the commission of unlawful acts of a terrorist or extremist nature.” Bank accounts of such individuals are blocked: they are allowed to withdraw only 10,000 rubles for themselves and for each family member without independent income per month. It is allowed to carry out transactions aimed at receiving and spending a pension, scholarship, allowance or other social benefits, as well as paying taxes or fines.
