As journalist and deputy Mustafa Nayem reports on his FB page, the parliamentary anti-corruption committee recognized the work of the Prosecutor General’s Office as unsatisfactory. Nayem noted that the committee secretariat is already preparing a draft resolution on the expression of no confidence and the resignation of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Vitaly Yarema.
People’s Deputy Igor Lutsenko confirms this information and reports that due to the unsatisfactory results of the investigation by the Prosecutor General’s Office of crimes committed by the “family” of ex-president Yanukovych, the Committee on Counteracting and Combating Corruption has already begun collecting signatures for a resolution expressing no confidence in the Prosecutor General of Ukraine. On Friday, people’s deputies will hear Yarema’s report and decide whether or not to include this resolution on the parliamentary agenda.
