“And no prison.” Edward Snowden on the discovery of secret documents from Biden

Former American intelligence officer Edward Snowden commented on the scandal with secret documents that were found in one of Joe Biden’s houses and in the center of his name. Snowden joked that Biden seemed to have taken more classified documents than many whistleblowers.

He posted the comments on Twitter.

“For comparison, Reality Winner (convicted in the US for leaking from the National Security Agency – Ed.) Was sentenced to five years for just one document. Meanwhile, Biden, Trump, Clinton, Petraeus … these guys have dozens, hundreds (documents – Ed.). And no jail,” Snowden wrote on social media.

In his opinion, the real scandal in the Biden case is not that he took secret documents, but that the US Department of Justice discovered them a week before the midterm elections and chose to keep silent about this story.

“Wow, even I handled secret documents more securely. At least I kept them encrypted!” Snowden also joked.
