The head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Alexander Neradko, nominated his adviser and press secretary, Elena Mikheeva, to the position of the sixth deputy head of the agency. It is assumed that she will oversee two departments: flight operation, as well as civil service and personnel, writes Aviatorshchina.
The appointment documents are being approved by the government. Mikheeva is a philologist by education, she came to the Federal Air Transport Agency in 2019 from the position of press secretary of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Administration of Civil Airports”.
In July last year, Neradko appointed his former assistant, 27-year-old Tatyana Kocherova, as head of the digital transformation and security department, which is actually responsible for the cybersecurity of Rosaviatsia. After that, the Deputy Prosecutor General made a presentation to his boss, Minister of Transport Vitaly Savelyev. The document stated that Neradko did not have the right to employ Kocherova due to the inadequacy of the position.
