After numerous raids by the investigation and the prosecutor’s office behind the heads of the officials of the Leningrad region, the government of the 47th region picked up the challenge red banner of the fight against corruption. Now Governor Drozdenko will personally deal with bribe-takers and haulers. About what awaits the heads of local administrations, the editors of the online publication “Kompromat Group“.

The governor of the Leningrad region sold out in earnest. Firstly, over the past couple of days, two leaders have been thrown outside the doors of the regional administration at once. Beyond the threshold were the chairman of the Committee on Natural Resources of the Leningrad Region Denis Belyaev and his deputy Nikolay Volchuga. The reason, as always, lies on the surface. A few days ago, an investigative-operational group came to the committee. She came, of course, with searches. Investigators were interested in documents on deforestation. In this regard, the main character of the new criminal history, the sources consider not the head of the committee at all Denis Belyaev, but just his deputy Volchugu. For the last in 2018, they already “came”. Then Nikolay Volchuga served as acting director of the LOGKU “Lenobles” (that the law enforcement agencies have “questions” to the leadership of this department, we already wrote). The Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case against him under Part 1 of Art. 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – “negligence”. Volchuga was charged with the illegal bringing of tenants of the forest fund by officials to administrative responsibility for an amount of at least 1 million 700 thousand rubles. Then an official letter was even sent to the office of the vice-governor for agriculture, in which law enforcement officers stated that Volchuga “convicted of committing crimes related to the use of official authority contrary to the interests of the service.”
However, the government of the region considered the statements of the Sledkom simply a “collision” and, in defiance of his comrades in uniform, Volchuga just got the position of deputy chairman of the Committee on Natural Resources. The prosecutor’s office, as they say, in those days, just fell into a slump, because the officials actually spat in her supervisory beard. However, the scandalous nature of the new appointee is said to be Alexandra Drozdenko, so much so that he almost fired the “natural” deputy a year ago. But today’s time prompted the head of the region the only correct way out – without waiting for the conclusions of law enforcement officers, he fired both the head and his deputy. Government hut, turned back to the distributors of natural resources.
Hiking in the forest
However, this situation today seems to be only the beginning of very interesting events. Recently it became known that in September the administration of the region starts a full-scale crusade – anti-corruption checks will be held in the district administrations. This fits perfectly into the political plan to save the governor’s career. After all, as we have repeatedly written, voids began to form around the head of the region for some time. Already a very large number of officials and leaders previously close to the governor began to observe the sky “in a box”.
And as we have already mentioned, the anti-corruption trend started by the young prosecutor Sergei Zhukovskyand didn’t think it would end. Any subsequent detention could lead to direct questions from the security forces to Drozdenko himself. It is no coincidence that, as the telegram channels wrote, according to rumors, Alexander Yuryevich has already spent about 9 unpleasant hours in the company of investigators, where he was asked various questions.
Therefore, it is not surprising that a new survival strategy appeared in the bowels of the administration, and Alexander Yuryevich, following the precepts of the most august persons, decided to lead the “crusade” himself. Moreover, the results of the report of the first vice-governor Igor Petrov on anti-corruption politics, were disappointing: the prosecutor’s office has now received 24 signals about the expenses and legitimate income of 24 officials. Four of these distinguished individuals received lawsuits for confiscation of property.
District administrations are waiting for on-site inspections and control over compliance with anti-corruption laws. But judging by recent events, the “crusaders” have not yet developed the necessary agility. Operators run faster. While the administration of the region was announcing its plans for September, the security forces got to the office of the administration of Lodeynoye Pole. The investigation has claims against the head of the district Ilya Dmitrenkoand his deputy economy Vladimir Rassadin. According to some reports, the investigation is considering Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – “fraud”. More precisely, we are talking about manipulations with budget money, regarding the improvement of the local embankment, and the treatment of a wooden structure with an antiseptic on 500 thousand rubles.
According to rumors, in the administration of the Leningrad Region, they were even somewhat happy with this turn of affairs, now it will be something indicative to bully the municipalities so that it would be discourteous to put their hands in the wrong positions into the budget treasury. Thus, as they say, Drozdenko is determined to give pepper to the district officials, and personally send presumptuous office scoundrels to the investigators’ offices.
However, some sources see the “crusade” as a clear political maneuver. It’s no secret that the most “burnt” place for Drozdenko is the ever-memorable Vsevolozhsky district. Back in July we reported about the fact that the deputy head of the administration of this difficult place Nikolai Karetkin filed by the task force. Karetkin, as we already wrote, is a confidant of the head of the district Andrey Nizovsky, who in turn is a confidant of Drozdenko himself. So far, it is not known whether Karetkin “dropped” into the cell and how quickly the investigators will get to Nizovsky through him. Therefore, it is very important for the governor’s team to get to the bins of the district administration earlier. After all, they know exactly where what “sins” lie. And since it would be suspicious to immediately rush at a gallop to Vsevolozhsk, we decided to invent just such a diversionary maneuver. However, this is also a plus for law enforcement agencies. They will be brought honestly collected materials on corruption crimes directly into their hands, for the disclosure of which no one will have to work hard.
