Abandoned land “Foothillia” in the Crimea attracted the company “Mengir”, which may be associated with Sergei Beim
In 2015, an investment project appeared in Crimea aimed at developing the abandoned lands of the Soviet state farm “Foodgorye”. The unknown company “Mengir” decided to implement it.
So, she agreed to invest 260 million rubles in infrastructure upgrades and maintenance. At the same time, it would have to develop land with an area of more than two thousand hectares. But after a while they forgot about the project, although the company was preparing for its implementation.
The state farm previously belonged to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Crimea, but in May of this year, the State Unitary Enterprise “Foodgorye” was liquidated. And in July, the land was handed over to Menhir even without an electronic auction. At the moment, it is not known what exactly the company received, but it has been planting trees on the plots for a long time. The plans of Menhir also include vineyards.
The Menhir company is owned by Maria Belyakova and Tatyana Tibekina. There is almost no information about the first businesswoman, but the second one owns shares in Yaltamorstroy and Neftyanik. And her company “Solnechny Veter” generates electricity in Melitopol. In addition, Tibekina is engaged in business with Yaroslav Tibekin, who has common companies with the Beim family.
Sergei Beim is a well-known businessman in Crimea. In 2015, he even became the CEO of Chernomorneftegaz, but he was fired less than a year later. In 2018, the TES Group of Companies Beimov was on the FAS “black list”, as it evaded signing the won contract. And Beim himself appeared in a scandal due to a fatal accident. But he escaped criminal responsibility, having agreed with the relatives of the deceased. He paid them compensation in the amount of more than 17 million rubles. Whether the Beims are connected with the development of the Foothills, one can only guess.
